You don’t forget the 2012 Itasca Navion iQ Class C Motorhome when it passes by. Sporting low-profile front cap styling and a sleek, aerodynamic exterior, this RV may be the right fit for your family.

There’s only one floorplan available for the Navion iQ – the 24G – which makes it easy for RVers who have a tough time choosing. The 24G has a length of 24’9″, an exterior height of 10’8″, an exterior width of 7’6″, an interior height of 6’5″, an interior width of 7’3″ and exterior storage space of 23 cubic feet. In terms of weight, it has GCWR of 15,250 lbs., a GVWR of 11,030 lbs., a front GAWR of 4,410 lbs. and a rear GAWR of 7,720 lbs. It terms of water, the Navion iQ has a freshwater capacity of 35 gal., a black water capacity of 32 gal. and a gray water capacity of 31 gal.

Built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Navion iQ is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 3.0L 6-cylinder, 188-hp turbo-diesel engine. As well, it comes equipped with adaptive ESP technology, five-speed automatic transmission with tip shift and four-wheel ABS. If you need to tow anything behind you, you’re in luck – this class C motorhome comes with a 5,000-pound drawbar trailer hitch, complete with seven-pin connector.

Let’s talk about construction. On top of the Navion iQ, there’s a crowned, one-piece fiberglass roof that’s backed by a 10-year limited parts-and-labor roof skin warranty. On the sidewalls, you’re covered by durable, lightweight Thermo-Panel sidewalls that combine fiberglass, high-density block-foam insulation and the inner wall surface with aluminum support structures. Keeping cabinets and appliances securely in place, metal substructures add safety and stability. As well, this class C motorhome uses electrodeposition coating to protect critical steel components and specially engineered interlocking joints connect the floor, sidewalls and roof into a cohesive unit.

When you get to your camp destination, the Navion iQ sets up quick and easy. If you want to make the most of your outdoor time, the optional electric patio awning gives you a place to relax and enjoy your surroundings, while speakers connected to the cab stereo system let you listen to your favorite tunes while you sit down with friends and family. Other convenience features include automatic entrance door step, porch light, step well light, and front and rear mud flaps.

Inside the Navion iQ, you’ll love the soft feel and upscale luxury of Ultraleather in a variety of choices – Springfield, Lagoon and Skyline – while cabinetry is offered in Sunset Cherry or Mocha Cherry, highlighted with stylish hardware and provides plenty of storage options.

Just because the drive to the campgrounds may be a long one, it doesn’t mean your drive has to be uncomfortable. Because it’s built on a Sprinter chassis, there’s plenty of driving comfort to be had. The cab seats aren’t just comfortable – they also swivel to face the lounge when you’ve parked. This Itasca class C motorhome comes equipped with RV Radio (with a CD player), which can be upgraded to a 6.5” touch screen that is plugged into the rearview monitor system. Other cab features include power door locks with a remote, power windows, power mirrors with defrost and turn signal indicators, cruise control, chassis/house battery radio power switch, power steering w/tilt and telescope wheel and sunvisors.

Making the most of the space available, the Navion iQ’s lounge is designed to fit the space perfectly. With the Comfort Sofa Sleeper, you get to enjoy it in the day and at night. It comes outfitted in durable Ultraleather and it features a self-inflating mattress. For meal times, there’s a moveable table, plus you’ll find a 26″ LCD TV mounted on a swivel stand that can be viewed from multiple positions. This area also comes with MCD American Duo solar/blackout roller shades – two shades in one. The first layer provides 100 percent light blocking power, while the second is a solar shade that lets in just the right amount of sunlight. Other features include a monitor panel, amplified digital HDTV antenna, key-activated slideroom master lock switch, cab divider curtain, tinted windows and a soft vinyl ceiling.

Everything you need can be found in the Navion iQ – including a fully equipped kitchen. For your cooking pleasure, you’ll find a microwave/convection oven combo, a two-burner range top with glass cover, a vented range hood and a single-door refrigerator with a removable freezer unit. To maximize space, the stainless steel sink and two-burner range top come with flip-up glass tops. If that’s not fancy enough for you, feel free to upgrade with the galley cold water filtration system or the backsplash.

In the bedroom, a slideout gives you room to move and offers plenty of space for the queen bed with memory foam mattress. All of your clothes are kept out of the way in the large wardrobe, and you can watch your favorite shows in the comfort of your own room on the optional 19″ LCD TV.

Next to the bedroom is the bathroom, complete with a shower, vanity sink, porcelain toilet, shower curtain, flexible showerhead, skylight and water-pump switch.
