These days, it’s all about saving more when you can, especially when it comes to leisure activities. Keystone has a way for you to cut down on fuel consumption – take the 2011 Bullet Travel Trailer along for the ride. Easy to tow with the new more fuel efficient crossovers, cars and trucks, the Bullet marks a new generation of RVs. Built to explore the open road, the Bullet is sleek on the outside and loaded with features and conveniences inside.

Do you have a hard time choosing? Well, Keystone isn’t making it any easier – the Bullet comes in 11 different floorplans. We’ll focus on the 281BHS, one of the mid-size models in this series. It measures in with a length of 31′ 8”, a width of 8′, a height of 10′ 3”, has a carrying capacity of 2461 lbs. and a hitch weight of 515 lbs. In the way of tanks, it comes with a 41-gallon fresh water tank, a 30-gallon waste water tanks and a 30-gallon grey water tank.

Built with an aggressive front profile for increased towability, the Bullet is constructed with an aluminum framed front, end and side walls, 8” I-beam with welded outriggers, laminated fiberglass exterior and 2” thick laminated aluminum floor for superior durability. Its front diamond plate gives you protection from rocks and debris, a one piece seamless rubber roof won’t degrade over time and a Darco moisture barrier keeps the rain outside (where it belongs). Keeping your living environment comfortable is R-11 insulation in the floor, R-7 insulation in the sidewalls and R-11 insulation in the roof. Other features that make a world of difference include in-frame fresh, grey and black water tanks, ¼” ABS enclosed underbelly, and an electric brake system.

For the drive up to the campground, the Bullet’s wide stance axle system features over 16 inches between two axles, so you will experience a more stable and smoother towing experience. Feel free to bring up more than just the basic necessities, as its pass-thru storage comes with 40.3 cubic feet of exterior space. There’s no need to worry if you arrive at your destination late at night, as the Bullet’s LED docking lights are super bright and directed right where you need it when hooking or unhooking. Plus, its heated and enclosed underbelly will extend your camping season and will protect it from debris.

The Bullet is all about convenience. That’s why it comes equipped with a quick access LP cover. That means no more taking the whole LP cover off just to check or switch tanks. All you have to do it open the top access panel and make all your adjustments. A one-touch electric awning means you can extend or retract your awning with the touch a button, and an exterior BBQ hookup eliminates the need for a second LP source when grilling. It also comes equipped with a radius entry door with gas strut that’s stronger and easier to open and outdoor waterproof speakers.

Thanks to the Bullet’s careful attention to detail and thoughtful use of space, you’re treated to a livable ultralight trailer. Choose from four different decor options to truly make it yours – Blackberry, Godiva, Sagebrush and Garden view. Providing elegant storage solutions are solid wood raised cabinet doors with residential cabinet hardware that’s easier to use and softer to the touch. For your viewing pleasure, you’ll find Lambrequin Legs – upgraded window appointments with style to spare. On the floor is residential linoleum that’s tough, durable and elegant, while pillow-backed furniture always offers a comfy place to sit.

When you walk in, you’re greeted by the open concept living and kitchen area. All of your cooking needs are taken care of, thanks to a 17” oven, a microwave, a 6 cu. ft. double door refrigerator and a three-burner high output range. It even has a spice rack valance, a handy spot where you can keep all your spices. The kitchen also comes with matching edge countertops, a deep basin sink with 9” of depth and a pantry. When it’s time to eat, dig in while sitting at the oversized U-shape dinette.

The living area will be a favorite place to relax. The pull-out sofa features a solid residential sofa kick board, so there’s no loose fabric… it looks just like the one you left at home. A CD/DVD/AM/FM stereo with MP3 hookup offers multiple options for entertainment, while the swivel TV eliminates the need to bring a second television for the master bedroom.

If you’ve got extra guests tagging along, the Bullet can sleep them all comfortably. There’s an oversized rollover sofa, as well as an oversized wardrobe, full blackout window treatments and cable and TV hookups.

Right next to the rear bunk is where you’ll find the bathroom. With amenities like a tub/shower combo (complete with shelves), a foot flush toilet and a deluxe curved shower curtain, you’ll feel right at home. Other features include recessed lighting, a power vent fan, a solid wood medicine cabinet and linen storage.

On the other side of this Keystone travel trailer is where you’ll find the master bedroom. Sleep soundly on the upgraded innerspring mattress with a bedspread and reverse pillow shams. To store your clothes, there are mirrored wardrobes and under bed storage, and when it time to change, just send them down the laundry chute. Other features include full blackout window treatments and individual reading lights.
