Camping isn’t the same if you leave some important family members behind. You know, like your dirt bikes, ATVs or snowmobiles. It’s just not as fun without them. But when you tow the 2011 Keystone Raptor Toy Hauler, no toy gets left behind.

An innovative and comfortable sport utility vehicle, every Raptor floorplan is the result of input and suggestions from experienced toy hauler owners and others who enjoy active, adventurous life styles. But since we can’t tell you about every single floorplan in the line, we’re going to focus on the 300MP, one of the smaller models in the series. The 300MP measures in with a length 35′ 5”, a width of 8′ 6”, a height of 13′ 1 and a hitch weight of 2,455lbs.

Strong and durable, at the heart of the Raptor’s five-layer sidewall construction is welded two-inch aluminum framing, making it easy to tow. This is designed to ensure that its structural integrity will give you strength, superior insulation, and durability for many years to come. The sidewalls contain seven layers: gel-coated Filon fibreglass; 1/8″ Luan wood backer; a second layer of 1/8″ Luan wood backer with staggered seams; solid block EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulation; radius window corner blocks; metal backing strips (EGS electro-galvanized sheet) and 2″ welded aluminum sidewall studs. Adding to its durable construction is 5/8” seamless floor decking, a 3” welded aluminum floor, a fluted Polypropylene enclosed underbelly, 3/8” OSB roof decking, a one-piece EDPM rubber roof (with 12 year warranty), a high-gloss exterior and a front cap designed for better turning radius.

Built on a 12” I-beam chassis, the Raptor should tow behind you smoothly, thanks to an Equa-Flex suspension system, 16” E-rated radial tires, aluminum wheels and 6,000 lb. axles. In the back is where you’ll find the garage, complete with a lightweight rear gate with 3,000 lb. capacity with spring assist and 1” garage floor decking. For complete stops, it comes outfitted with electric brakes on all its wheels, as well as LED brake lights. And to always keep it the right temperature, it features ram air ventilation, a 15,000 BTU air conditioner and a 35,000 BTU furnace. Other exterior features include electric rear stabilizer jacks, electric front jacks, two in-floor storage bins, a vented attic, an electric patio awning, a security light, and an on board generator and hitch vision.

When it’s finally time to come inside, the Raptor’s interior is ready to pamper to you. You can choose from a variety of decors: Twilight, Eclipse and Landscape. The decor is enhanced by hardwood cabinetry with maple raised panel doors and wooden crown molding. On the floor, you’ll find Beauflor flooring that is cold crack, slip, stain, mold and mildew resistant. And it’s not all about looks – it’s about keeping you comfortable too. The Raptor comes equipped with 12-gal. gas/electric DSI water heater, washer dryer prep, ducted A/C and heat Into the garage, 50 Amp service,15,000 BTU air conditioner and a 110-gallon fresh water tank.

The living area is where you’ll been spending a lot of your down time, and for good reason. Take a seat on the custom sofa that easily converts into a bed, complete with an air mattress. The highlight of this area has to be its exclusive stereo system that features a Sony 32” LCD/HD TV, two exterior marine speakers, four interior speakers, 10-inch sub woofer, AM/FM/DVD/CD/MP3 player and 500 watt amplifier.

Next stop is the kitchen, which comes with everything you’ll need to whip up a feast. It comes complete with 8 cu. ft. refrigerator, a residential microwave, and a three-burner range with 22” oven. For all your prep and clean up needs, there’s also a range and sink cover, and upgraded residential pull-out kitchen faucet, solid surface counter tops and a large 60/40 kitchen sink. When it’s time to chow down, pull up a seat in the plush dinette that features storage under the cushions, while its extra tall slideout gives you more room for eating and entertaining.

When night falls, there are plenty of places to sleep in the Raptor. Not only is there a queen-sized bed in the master suite, there’s also a double electric queen bed option you can put in the garage. In the master suite, you’ll also find a dresser and wardrobe to store all your clothes.

Lastly, we come to the bathroom, located next to the master bedroom. It comes fully equipped with a shower in surround, a power vent, a porcelain toilet with foot flush, a skylight in the shower and towel hooks.

Other interior features that make a difference include garage access, residential-style wooden door with a glass insert, cable/satellite prep, TV antenna with booster and bedroom TV hook-up, Raptor control panel with fuel gauge, full extension ball bearing drawer guides, a residential ceiling fan with light and night shades.
