The Entegra Anthem Class A motorhome is the epitome of luxurious travel. Top-grade features combined with high-quality residential design elements will have RV-life enthusiasts swooning.

Out of the five floorplans available, we’ll be taking a closer look at the Entegra Anthem 44B. It has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 49,000 lbs and a Gross Combined Weight Rating of 64,000 lbs. It measures just shy of 45’ long, 12’ 9” tall, and 101” wide. The fresh water tank has a capacity of 100 gallons, the gray water tanks hold 62 gallons, and the black water tank can hold 41 gallons.

The Anthem 44B is built on a Spartan raised-rail chassis with X-bridge frames welded into it. The underbelly has an enclosed, insulated, and heated floor, with thermostat-controlled heating in storage area. The exterior walls are built with welded tubular aluminum construction and covered in a high-gloss, gel-coat fiberglass. You have a choice between four paint combination packages. The coach uses a hydraulic automatic leveling jack system.

Low/high beam, fog, accent, and docking lights are all longer-lasting, better efficiency LED. Turn lights, also LED, run the full length of the coach.

Dual rear mirrors and a blind spot monitoring system give the driver an extra measure of confidence during maneuverings: when there is an object within the determined zones around the coach (there are three sensors on each side of the coach and one on the front), indicator lights will flash on the dashboard and the side view mirrors to alert the driver.

The exterior entertainment center has a 40” LED HDTV on a bracket that extends, pans from side to side, and tilts up and down so that you can watch it from any angle. The multimedia stereo receiver has Bluetooth audio streaming, and there’s also a rooftop satellite dish.

Stepping up into the coach, there’s a nice little in-step pull-out tray to stash things you might want to grab – gloves, dog leash, etc. – while outside the coach door. In the cockpit area, a wraparound windshield provides an uninterrupted view of the road and scenery. The in-dash the infotainment center includes the radio/entertainment menu as well as the high-definition video monitor system, both flush mounted under one piece of glass for a clean, sleek look and feel. There are also three USB charging stations. Air conditioning vents directly above the driver and passenger seats make for good airflow in the cockpit area while on the road. Power adjustable foot pedals are a nice touch for even more driving comfort.

The touch-screen command center mid-coach allows you to monitor tank levels, adjust lighting and window shades, control awnings and slide-outs, and more. You can also download a command center app so that you control everything from your phone.

The living spaces of the Anthem 44B is where you’ll really notice the luxury elements. Large-scale, high gloss porcelain tiles cover the floor throughout, leather hide-a-bed couches, cherry wood cabinetry set the tone. The LED-lit fireplace is more than just a pretty face: new in the 2017 Anthem, there are hidden, slide-out storage compartments behind the fireplace frame.

The living area is directly behind the cockpit. It has an L-shaped couch and two ottomans with storage. A pair of upholstered dining chairs flank the extendable workstation/dining table, which comes directly out of the cabinet along the coach wall.

In the kitchen, solid surface countertops, stainless steel double sink, and porcelain and glass tile backsplash add a touch of glamor. A full-size refrigerator with ice-maker and water dispenser, convection microwave oven, two-burner induction cooktop, and a dishwasher with wood raised-panel front door truly make it feel like a residential kitchen. A slide-out peninsula gives you added work surface. The LED-lights along the edge of the counter are dimmable and can serve as night lights. The cabinets have pull -out plate racks and drawers to make reaching your items all the easier.

Entertainment-wise, the Anthem boasts three Samsung LED HDTVs – in the front overhead, the living room, and the bedroom. There are Blu-ray players in both living room and bedroom, as well as a BOSE sound system (living area) and sound bar (bedroom).

The two bathrooms also feature LED-lit solid surface countertops like the kitchen, and have an integrated sink. Porcelain toilets have push-button flush system, and the master bathroom shower is porcelain-tiled with a skylight.

In the bedroom, the large cedar-lined wardrobe has automatic lights, and a safe to keep your valuables. At the end of a full day, you’ll drift off in comfort on the Sleep Comfort Sleep Number mattress under the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan.

Chore time is made a bit less onerous thanks to the stacked washer/dryer in the master bathroom and central vacuum.
