When you want a motorhome that makes you feel as good as it looks, take the 2010 Winnebago Aspect Class C out for a test ride. But be warned: it’ll be hard giving it back once the ride is over. You may just want to make it a permanent part of your family.

Available in two floorplans (both slideouts layouts), we’re going to take you for a spin in the 30C model. The 30C measures in with a length 31’7″, an exterior height of 10’5″, an exterior width of 7’11”, an interior height of 6’5″, an interior width 7’8″ and exterior storage space of 13.8 cubic feet.

Built on a Ford E450 chassis, the Aspect is powered by a 305-hp 6.8L Super-Duty V10 SEFI Triton engine and is easy to drive, thanks to its TorqShift 5-speed automatic transmission. Also coming along for the ride are a 115-amp. alternator, 4-wheel ABS, a trailer hitch 5,000-lb. drawbar (so you can you can tow your favorite toys), 350 lb. maximum vertical tongue weight and wiring with 7-pin connector, as well as stainless steel wheel liners. All of these features come together to give owners an effortless and worry-free road trip.

Using SuperStructure construction, this system combines ThermoPanel sidewalls, interlocking joints and a solid foundation to give this Class C motorhome superior strength and durability. It comes with a full itinerary of services that will make life on the road cushy, including an electrical service center and plumbing service center that give you easy access to connection points. In addition, it features the TrueLevel holding-tank monitoring system. This handy feature uses sonar technology to read liquid levels from outside the tank. And since there are no probes to corrode or clog, it can offer accurate readings for as long as you have it.

And because you want people to stop and stare as you drive by (who doesn’t!), you can pick out a full-body paint scheme that goes along with your sense of adventure. If you really want to pimp your ride, you can choose to add on stylized aluminum wheels.

On the list for other great exterior features, there’s a mount that allows you to bring your TV outside, so you can watch the game under the comfort of the awning. There’s also a Group 31 deep-reserve house battery and the available 4,000-watt Cummins Onan MicroQuiet generator that pumps you up with power, no matter where you are.

Inside, you can really make the Aspect feel like home with a host of different decor options. Pick from fabrics such as Moonstone with Bark ultraleather, granite falls with Sandbox ultraleather and Silverscreen with Putty ultraleather. Complementary wood cabinet choices include Coffee-Glazed

Sierra Maple, Forest Cherry, Belmont Maple and Honey Cherry.

Adding to its sleek styling is the exclusive SmartSpace design elements that let you maximize your living space’s interior, an interior upgrade package that includes a dash and beverage tray, pleated window blinds and the Dream Dinette, which allows you to easily lower and raise the table with one hand.

To make the trip a lot more pleasant for the driver, the Aspect’s cab comes with RV Radio. This includes an AM/FM stereo, a CD player, weather band, iPod/MP3 input and two remotes. If that’s not enough, you can upgrade with a Sirius Plug-N-Play satellite radio system that comes with a free six-month subscription.

Why go out when the Aspect’s lounge area has everything you need to stay in? It comes equipped with an entertainment center, complete with a 26″ LCD TV and a home theater sound system with a DVD player, five speakers and a subwoofer. The system also lets you watch DVDs on the bedroom TV, and a King-Dome in-motion HD-ready satellite system and a 300-watt inverter are popular options. And make yourself comfortable on the Rest Easy multi-position lounge, an addictive piece of furniture that glides from sofa to recliner to bed with the touch of a button.

Into the galley, where you’ll find everything you need to help keep your energy up while on vacation. In the way of appliances, it comes with a 3-burner range top with storage below, a two-door refrigerator/freezer and a microwave oven with a vented range hood. You can also choose to add a microwave/convection oven if you really enjoy your cooking. Also found in the galley are plenty of cabinets and full-extension drawer slides. Once the meals are cooked, sit down at the standard dinette or available BenchMark full-comfort dinette.

Since this is a rear slideout, the bedroom area gives you plenty of room to relax. You’ll catch some serious shut eye on the queen-sized bed with innerspring mattress, bedspread, pillows and pillow shams (or you can upgrade to Ideal Rest body-conforming memory foam mattress). You can add an LCD TV to the mix, and a spacious wardrobe holds plenty of clothes for extended trips.
