Winnebago’s Classic is back with a family-friendly bang. The Minnie Winnie is designed to make life on the road feel as comfortable as home.
Out of five floorplans, we chose to explore the 31KP. Designed for the nuclear family of four, this floorplan will equip you with the comfort and space that most road trips lack. The Minnie Winnie Premier 31KP has a length of 32’7”, exterior height of 11’2” and exterior width of 8’5.5”. Its exterior storage is 101 cu. ft. The 31KP’s awning length is 20’, interior height is 6’10” and interior width is 8’. For liquids, the fresh tank holds 44 gallons, water heater holds six gallons, and black/gray tanks hold 30 gallons. The Minnie Winnie Premier has a gross combined weight rating of 22,000 lbs. and a gross vehicle weight rating14,500 lbs.
Winnebago has outfitted the Minnie Winnie with its SmartSpace design. SmartSpace is Winnebago’s design philosophy that promotes the efficient use of space through innovative features like Benchmark, which is a comfortable dinette, equipped with storage compartments below its flip-up seats. The Rest Easy multi-position lounge extends and repositions itself at your guests’ convenience, while the full-extension drawer slides allow ample space for cutlery and knick-knacks.

One of Winnebago’s key features is its Smart Storage system. Built for bulky items, the Smart Storage is located on the exterior. Its large trunk with multiple doors and sliding storage trays make it easy to access. If you plan on picnicking and barbequing you will definitely be excited about the compartment cover that converts into a picnic table.
After a day spent in the wild outdoors, you’ll love opening the entrance door to your Minnie Winnie and relaxing in the living room. Equipped with tinted windows and pleated nightshades, you can have as much privacy as you want. There’s also a cab privacy curtain for extra assurance, along with the option of getting tinted, dual-glazed, thermo-insulated windows. If your idea of relaxing involves a large television and a bowl of snacks, then request a 32” HGTV, equipped with a DVD player and a remote. The Minnie Winnie Premier features an amplified digital TV antenna system.
Wherever you are, you’ll be able to enjoy a home cooked meal in the Minnie Winnie Premier. The galley is equipped with a microwave oven and a three-burner range. If you like baking, then request a range with an oven. Kitchen drawers have full-extension drawer slides, while the large refrigerator blends in with the walls, adding style to the homey kitchen. When dinner’s ready, serve your guests at the cozy u-shaped dinette. If your guests decide to sleep over, convert the dinette into a comfortable bed for two.
The bathroom is simple but it does the job. Equipped with a shower curtain, skylight and a flexible showerhead, you’ll be able to take a shower in a well-lit space and maintain privacy. Of course Winnebago didn’t forget about the toilet, sink and mirrored medicine cabinet. Other bathroom features include storage space for towels, soap holders and linens. Though the space is small, its efficient use of space will make grooming and washing easy tasks.

When you’re ready to recharge your batteries, say goodnight to the family and escape to your bedroom. The bed is equipped with a stylish bedspread and overhead cabinetry offers you plenty of space to store your essentials. One side of the bed features a nightstand, while the other side features a cabinet, which is perfect for hanging pants, blouses and dresses. If you have a large family then you might consider getting the Minnie Winnie Premier 31H, which features bunk beds and two HDTVs in the bedroom.
Last but not least, let’s explore the cab. Built for long road trips, the cab offers long-term comfort for both the driver and the passenger. With adjustable cab seats, three-point seatbelts, and power steering with cruise control, long rides will pass as quickly as the landscape. For your safety, the manual mirrors have breakaway arms and the cab features power door locks. You can also request a Radio/Rearview Monitor System, which features a 6” LCD touch screen color monitor, remote, AM/FM stereo, iPod/MP3 input, and a color rear camera.
