Mostly good rv experience
By Steve Wilson (I am an Owner)In March 2020 I traded up from a 20 year old Class C of similar size and thought I had died and gone to heaven. The Sprinter part. Drives like a dream. Great gas mileage. /stays on the road when a truck passes. But, resetting the oil change counter requires a phd and paying Mercedes dealer to change ... the oil requires a 50 miles each way drive and $500 oil change. The Coachmen part. I use it primarily as a backyard entertainment center at home and camping for just me and the dog when travelling. Tore out the cheap dinette the first day, noting that it was already falling apart. Put in a double recliner and a 42" tv over the cab and a kickarse tv / stereo outside. It totally is an enjoyable camping experience except for the roar of the air conditioner. I hate making the bed, a near impossibility due to placement in the back corner with cabinets overhanging two sides of it and walls on three sides. I bought it at "locked down" prices in March and thought it was a good value. I would not consider it a good value at the prices that have prevailed from mid-summer 2020 to spring, 2021.Read More
