Farewell to Tents
By Ron Z-Man (I am an Owner) on Jul 24, 2014This model has been a pleasure to own and operate. Its compactness made it perfect for weekend get-away for one or two adults with small children. It's basic living and works well in a campground with facilities (e.g., toilets and showers). With the investment of a small generator (e.g., Honda) to ... perk out some waves of cooler air, it is manageable in Texas weather with some shade in the day and running the electric fan powered by gasoline generator. Add a cooler loaded with ice and refreshments for adults and kids should be fine. The compact refrigerator is ok for cold cuts, some produce, and some small items-again, this is a weekend get-away-to hold over the camping tribe. No A/C, but why get a popup in the first place? Well, the weight factor contributes to low fuel consumption, for one thing. Acquisition is reasonable for the average startup family or a mini man cave on wheels. Stove works well for most couples, and sleeping arrangements are satisfactory. Towability experiences at 55 - 65 mph have seemed carefree - other than stopping to check connections as recommended by common sense. Young family, couple, or a few guys needing something to escape into nature, I have enjoyed my popup and this particular make and model. Improvements that the manufacturer should make: refrigeration on unit was problematic and required additional cooling fan in outside access panel. I purchased this unit new from Crestview RV. Good service experienced.Rating breakdown

6 years with my Sedona
By Robert W. Lobenstein (I am an Owner) on Apr 09, 2014This little popup I bought in 2008 serves me well in my retirement. (I retired in 2010) I use it to run all over the country, operating my Ham Radio as I go (WA2AXZ)I am sorry I did not get the electric lift with it as now that I'm in my 60's, it is a chore to open it up. Sadly, Fleetwood/Coleman are ... kaput as a business and I cannot find a conversion kit. The only other thing I will look into when my next camper is bought.... Larger Tires! The 12 inch doughnuts barely last 2 years. If you are in the market for a popup or other trailer camper... it is 13 inches plus. The only other problem is the RV power converter. Using Ham Radio Equipment, the radios are sensitive to electrical noise and hash...and boy, are these converters in the fleetwoods noisy. In fact just about every RV has poor converters. My converter failed in 2011 and I installed a 120/12v power supply to run the interior goodies. and NO NOISE! Hope to hear my fellow hams when on the road! 73's Bob Lobenstein WA2AXZRating breakdown
