Gulf Stream VISA - do not buy
By Leon Macha (I am an Owner) on Mar 29, 2013I purchased aVISA 19ERD after much research and comparison. The VISA is riddled with problems, most of which I repaired myself (dealer was 2 hr away and then dropped his dealership). The MAJOR problem (reported by many) is that the Lippert torsion axle causes the tires to wear out and blow in about ... 2500 miles. Lippert and Gulf Stream replaced my axle and tires near end of warranty period. The replacements wore out even faster, and now I am out of warranty. For most people complaining to Gulf Stream, they get the run-around. I followed ALL the claim rules. The process worked but the engineering by Gulf Stream and Lippert is faulty. Buy an RV with a stiff axle, not a torsion axle. All RVs are built in a sloppy manner, just expect that. If you are not tool handy, do not buy. Motels are cheaper. Now I have an RV trlr that will sit in my driveway unless I buy a set of tires for each trip.Rating breakdown

Factory defects abound
By Dennis Stock (I am an Owner) on Jun 25, 20121) Screen missing and poor fit up.2) Jacks did not work properly.3) Table and Microwave mounts tore out.4) Awning attachement at foot tore out.5) MAJOR = Tires started dry rotiing after 4 months, had them replaced with the exact F78-14ST and tire did not fit in wheel well. Entire wheel well had to ... be removed and replaed with a larger one to accept the spec tire. 6)Low ground clearance is a constant worry, I may consider a 1" spacer on the axleRating breakdown

Mixed emotions
By Brad Hook (I am an Owner) on Feb 02, 2012We love the floor plan and the look of this trailer. We were impressed with the low weight and towing requirements when we first explored purchasing this trailer. We have now had the trailer for about 4 months and have traveled about 4000 miles. We have had to have the following things corrected ... (thank God it's still under warranty) 1. New Tires 2. 3 Stereo systems before the current one is now reliable 3. Hot Water Heater (failed on 4 trips) finally working 4. Awning handle locks (upgraded to better model) 5. Microwave vibrated out of cabinet 6. Problems with tail lights, valences, door closing hardware and a number of smaller issues Taking the trailer back to the dealer after every trip was annoying but we still love the trailer and hope that the problems are behind us.Rating breakdown

Opinion
By Nick Reekers (I am an Enthusiast) on Apr 17, 2011Love the exterior finish and the layout inside of the 19erd!! Tv location, bright, spacious, quality appliances, great work! Great job! But........whats with the two tones cupboards, looks like you ran out of wood to complete in the same finish. We are seriously looking to buy in the next couple of ... weeks. Difficult decision.... to be made. Can we live with the cupboards???Rating breakdown
