2017 Thor Motor Coach Lineup
(Press Release) At Thor Motor Coach, updates and new features keep our motorhomes looking fresh and delivering outstanding and memorable experiences. Some changes are aesthetic, others are practical additions. We try to incorporate customer feedback and make value additions and changes that meet changing needs and preferences.

Without further ado, here’s a look at what’s new for model year 2017.
A.C.E.
The new A.C.E comes with a new Brazilian Cherry wood option, which gets its name from its natural cherry color. A cool new Arctic Frost Interior is an additional interior option. Further interior updates encompass the vinyl floor, countertops, wall board colors and border trim. Up to 12 new features updates have been incorporated, including blank tank flush for all floor plans, vent covers on attic fans, and handy LED bed overhead reading lights. Six options on current A.C.E motorhomes are now standard on the 2017 model.
2017 Axis
The Axis RUV has a new choice of wood and color. Among the eight updates to the motorhome are exterior baggage doors, exterior TV swivel, and LED step lights and overhead reading lights. The carpet has been replaced by vinyl flooring while the previous air mattress swaps places with a fold out sofa for a more comfortable interior.
2017 Challenger
Customers love the Challenger’s innovative floor plans and ingenious design. For 2017, the motorhome gets a new Riverside full exterior body paint and three new interior colors. High gloss wood adds more sheen to the cabin and a couple of practical additions also enhance the overall functionality and usability of the motorhome. You now get a second side splash, full bottom booth dinette cushions and a fully tiled backsplash.
2017 Chateau
The versatile Chateau gains two new floorplans for 2017, bringing the total number of available floorplans to 11. It also gets a new standard exterior color, two optional shades, and one new interior color. A number of nifty changes enhance the overall practicality of the motorhome. Some floorplans benefit from additional storage above the microwave; a redesigned pantry with two drawers and three fixed shelves; additional drawer storage under the lower bunk, and an additional wardrobe drawer. Bigger windows behind the couch and table welcome more natural light. A new backsplash and stainless steel sink enhance the beauty of the kitchen, while you can plug in everything cleanly in a pop-up outlet.
2017 Chateau Super C
The Super C’s 33SW floorplan has been discontinued for the 2017 model year. Buyers have a new choice of paint color for the exterior: Redwood in full-body paint scheme. There is a choice of three new interior colors. The interior also gains a host of updates. A new splash of color for the wall boards and countertops adds a fresh look. The cabover mattresses and storage compartments boast a redesign, while the 35SB floorplan benefits from new drawer storage under the lower bunk. The 35SK now has a bigger kitchen window. All 2017 Chateau Super C motorhomes have an added tray for two extra batteries.
2017 Citation
The Citation Sprinter is a compact and affordable motorhome with a robust Mercedes Benz chassis. For 2017, the RV has two new exterior and interior color choices, and a new wood option. A slew of interior updates add to the freshness quotient. They include new sidewall vinyl, solid surface kitchen countertop with sink and sink cover; LED entry step light and overhead reading light; a cargo net compartment with a charging station on the driver’s side wing wall; and a useful trash basket under the sink to save space.
The 2017 Citation is all about extra storage. There is a pull-out drawer under the couch, the master bed folds out into an air mattress bed, and the storage compartments have expanded in size.
As far as exterior updates are concerned, the Citation has new rear bumper and tail lights, new exterior radio speakers, and flush mount water heater door, along with other changes. The three new options include a 12V attic fan, side cameras, and a stabilization system. The spin-around captain’s chairs and table are another nifty addition.
2017 Compass
The Compass is another compact yet roomy and comfortable RV from the Thor Motor Coach stable. As part of the 2017 update, the Compass gets brand new 23TB floor plan. The cabin gains LED overhead reading lights and entry step light, as well as a waste basket. There are two new options, a 12V attic fan (with cover) and an exterior TV with a swivel TV bracket. Besides being easy to drive, the Compass also has a lot of exterior storage you’ll be hard-pressed to find on other SUVs.
2017 Four Winds
Offering a choice of Ford or Chevy chassis, Four Winds is available with ten floorplans to cater to different lifestyle needs. For 2017, we have added two more floor plans: 26B and 30D, giving buyers more entry points to this brand. Buyers can take their pick from four new exterior body paints. There are a number of additions to the interior, including bigger window sizes, new kitchen backsplashes, an all-in-one systems panel, adjustable kitchen shelves above the microwave, and extra drawers and shelves to redesigned pantries. Four Winds also benefits from a bigger storage box and baggage door size.
2017 Four Winds Super C
A 50 inch TV is a cool entertainment option on the 2017 model. Not only is there storage space behind the television but a cabinet on the side also comes in handy to store your gear. An easily accessible walk-through from the captain’s chair to the coach saves you time and energy. New surfaces abound, and bigger windows usher in plenty of natural sunlight during the day and brighten up the interior. Better safety comes in the form of a back-up camera and a side-view camera. New vent covers allow you to turn on the fans even when it is raining outside. Ample exterior storage meets the demands of your long-haul trips very easily!
2017 Gemini
A popular RUV, Gemini is a hit with busy families hauling kids to soccer tournaments and weekend camping trips. Fold up the queen bed and you have a comfortable space to sit back and relax with a snack! The RUV is your roomy and comfortable home on wheels, complete with residential vinyl flooring for easy cleaning. Exterior swivel TV and lots of storage make the 2017 Gemini a complete value-for-money RUV.
2017 Hurricane
The first thing you notice about the new Hurricane is its excellent head space. That’s because it now boasts an 84 inch interior height. The kitchen has taller backsplashes and the pantry has a number of drawers for additional storage. There is a power front shade in the cockpit and a flush mount rear view camera for enhanced safety and guidance. An outdoor kitchen – with a stainless steel sink, mini fridge and a propane gas grill takes convenience to the next level. The 32 inch exterior TV is offered as standard on the 2017 model.
2017 Miramar
Every version of the Miramar – and there are six floorplans in all – has new additions and updates that transform the motorhome experience. New choices in interior decor, across the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, as well as LED reading lights and a power ceiling vent combine beauty and functionality in a versatile package that can be made to fit your needs perfectly.
2017 Outlaw Class A
Thor Motor Coach’s popular toy hauler has an updated interior design, from residential vinyl flooring that makes light work of your cleaning chores to high-gloss woodwork and new window treatments. The dinette booth converts into a bed, and your guest can sleep comfortably in the drop-down overhead bunk. The rear ramp door can be easily lifted up and down with one hand, and there’s also a key-activated release for convenience and safety. The exterior is equipped with a 27 gallon auxiliary fuel tank with fuel nozzle stowed down below.
2017 Outlaw Class C
The 2017 model shares the fresh new interior changes seen in the Class A. There is storage underneath the redesigned top bunk and the pantry has been upgraded with two drawers and three shelves. An all-in-one systems panel, and an interior and exterior TV swing out are other new features. Self-leveling hydraulic jack is now standard on the 2017 Outlaw Class C.
2017 Palazzo
New interior colors and optional theater seating add to the luxurious feel of the 2017 Palazzo. The kitchen features a new backsplash and a stainless steel sink. As far as practicality is concerned, the motorhome has a large storage drawer under the dinette and a number of drawers and cabinets (besides the roomy closet) in the bedroom.
2017 Quantum
If you’re sleeping on the top bunk, tap the power button to open the moon roof and literally catch forty winks beneath the stars. A new 12V attic fan keeps you cool on warm, balmy nights. It comes with a cover, so you can keep it on even when it is raining outside. Storage spaces have been upgraded, and the 2017 model features cupholders next to the leatherette sofa. Swivel televisions allow a lot of adjustments, and make it easy to view games and your favorite TV show from any angle!
2017 Siesta Sprinter
Like all 2017 model updates across the Thor Motor Coach range, the Siesta Model features an elegant new interior with useful additions such as a sink cover and a waste basket stored below the undermount stainless steel kitchen sink. The exterior TV is now standard and tied to the sidewall speakers. There’s additional storage under the TV for all your accoutrement. A new bumper and tail lights round up the exterior updates.
2017 Synegy
With solid surface kitchen countertop and sink cover, plus a waste basket under the sink, the Synergy’s interior is now more elegant and practical. A new vinyl sidewall complements the LED overhead lights. The exterior TV and bedroom TV are standard equipment on the 2017 model, while optional extras include side and stabilization cameras. If you inspect the motorhome from the outside, you’ll be happy with the new rear bumper, headlights and exterior radio speakers.
2017 Tuscany XTE
Luxury, thy name is Tuscany! The porcelain tile floors and fireplace give you the feel of a stately mansion, while high gloss wood, solid surface countertops and tilework on the backsplash add to the sophisticated feel. The sofa converts into a bed. Multiplex wiring systems at different spaces allow you to control the temperature, put out the slide rooms or turn the lights in the cabin.
2017 Tuscany
Like its XTE cousin, the Tuscany features stunning porcelain tile floors and new colors in high gloss wood and solid surface kitchen countertops. Full-size appliances – from the dishwasher to stainless steel residential refrigerator and convection microwave – offer a homely feel. A stackable washer and dryer is offered as standard on every Tuscany. A heated basement and pass-through storage make the 2017 Tuscany your royal home on wheels!
2017 Vegas
The 2017 Vegas has a fully updated interior featuring residential vinyl flooring, high-gloss wood and new countertop, backsplash and sofa colors. LED step lights and overhead reading lights enhance safety and convenience. A notable update for 2017 models is the attic fan with vent cover – now offered as standard equipment – which you can keep running even when it pours outside.
2017 Venetian
The 2017 Venetian has a smart and attractive kitchen layout, with a big stainless steel refrigerator, a convection microwave, and a True induction cooktop. The couch, dinette and theater seats boast soft, high-quality surfaces in tasteful colors. Relax with a cold one in front of the 55 inch retractable television. Discover interesting and useful features such as USB charging stations in the nightstand and multiplex wiring systems. A 150 gallon fuel tank is ideal for long-distance trips, and when you let your rig rest a bit, there’s the standard exterior TV to keep you entertained.
2017 Windsport
Step into the Windsport, and you’re greeted by generous interior space and 84 inch interior height. The kitchen features a taller backsplash and bigger drawers and cabinets. Bigger windows help maintain a bright and airy interior during the daytime. Like the Hurricane, the Windsport comes with an exterior kitchen.
