With the increased popularity of online shopping these days, from clothing to appliances to automobiles, anything that makes the experience better is welcomed. Winnebago, a household name in recreational vehicles, recently debuted new, enhanced online shopping tools for an improved customer experience. The tools, tips, and info available through the Winnebago website are a first for an RV manufacturer.

To start, the Winnebago dealer selection tool is now a prominent feature on every model page, giving consumers quick and easy access to see the three nearest dealers to them.

Going a step further, the dealer locator tool on the Winnebago website now displays more information, including available inventory (both retail and rental), dealer reviews, dealer website links, and even live inventory links. Through these links, visitors will be able to access dealer-specific pricing and branding.

The Winnebago digital retail tools drawer gives consumers the opportunity to make appointments, get quotes, or even receive an online estimate of the trade-in value of their existing vehicle.

Additionally, the shopping concierge tool helps direct customers to their nearest dealer.

“These new shopping tools exemplify our commitment to continuously improve customer and dealer service and provide innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the marketplace. Our hope is that, in addition to making it easier to shop for and purchase an RV, these tools will speed up the time it takes for owners to realize their RV travel dreams,” said Winnebago Outdoors President Huw Bower.

Founded in Forest City, Iowa, in 1958, where Winnebago still has production facilities, the company is now headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, with additional facilities in Charles City and Lake Mills, Iowa. With a name that is synonymous with motorhomes and RVs, Winnebago is an industry pioneer and an American icon.
