(Press Release) Western RV Country serves 11 cities across the province of Alberta. One of those communities was especially hit hard last week with the devastation of the wildfires burning across Fort McMurray.

Western RV Country’s 200 employees wanted to make a difference, so they came together and raised $12,945 to support relief efforts. Company owner Bruce Urban will match this number, bringing the companywide donation total to $25,890. The federal government will also match this number, bringing a total contribution to $51,780.

“Our organization is also encouraging all other RV dealers across the province to match or exceed this donation amount,” said Urban. “Together, the RV industry can raise a significant amount of money for the impacted residents of Wood Buffalo and Fort McMurray.”

Western RV Country is also responding to a need for RV support in the Boyle, Alberta, region. RV technicians will be heading up to provide immediate RV support, free of charge, for families/individuals using their RVs for temporary housing.

Western RV Country is one of the largest RV dealers in western Canada with locations in these Alberta communities: Airdrie, Leduc, Sherwood Park, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Fort McMurray, Lloydminster, Okotoks, Red Deer, as well as Kelowna, British Columbia.
