Gulf Stream Coach has taken the covers off a new model for its ultra-lightweight division of travel trailers – the SVT (Super Value Trailer).

Available in three floorplans, the SVT takes advantage of the technology built into the company’s Gulf Breeze and Streamlite product lines. SVT models use vacuum-bonded laminated fiberglass walls and an aerodynamic laminated fiberglass front profile to create a what Gulf Stream calls a stiff, lightweight, resilient body and low overall weight.

“RV buyers recognize the clear advantages of laminated construction, but many first-timers and value shoppers saw the price of laminated trailers as an obstacle,” says Tim Dennig, director of sales for the ultra-lightweight division. “Our new SVT series breaks through this resistance with an entirely new price point between conventional construction and typical laminated products. The result is that SVT buyers get the benefits of laminated construction for a breakthrough low price.

“We didn’t hold back on quality construction with the SVT Series, unlike some of our competitors. Rather than discontinued fabrics, flooring, and cabinets, we’re using designer fabrics, congoleum non-stick flooring, and custom handcrafted wood cabinetry in our most popular new color, Roanoke Cherry, just like the interiors in our top-of-the-line products.

“The new SVT Series gives Gulf Breeze and StreamLite dealers a price point that has swept thousands of new customers into the laminated trailer market with a quality-built product that bears the famous Gulf Stream Coach name and family heritage.”
