A New Zealand company has come up with a new rental vehicle that falls somewhere between a regular car and an RV. Dubbed the Spaceship, this travel companion is a modified minivan that has been customized to allow for sleeping, cooking, and entertainment.
The quarters are no doubt a little cramped, but for a couple who wants to hit the open road and either can’t afford or doesn’t want to drive a large RV, the Spaceship is an interesting option.
Once you open the sliding door, the Spaceship resembles a Swiss Army knife, as all the features are tucked away until you need them. Check out the videos below the jump to see how it all works.
Spaceships are available for renting in New Zealand, Australia, and Great Britain.
