The Dutchmen Aspen Trail travel trailer is designed for outdoor getaways. Whether you’re spending a long weekend by the lake or an entire summer, the Aspen Trail provides you with the comforts of home at a low price tag.
With a whopping 21 floorplans to choose from, we went with the 31-foot 2730RBS. Perfect for couples, the layout includes a separate bedroom, kitchen and living space. It has an uploaded weight of 7,060 lbs, hitch weight of 836 lbs, and cargo capacity of 2,620 lbs. With a height of 11’6”, the ceiling is comfortably high, giving the illusion of a wide and spacious interior. The Aspen Trail has a fresh water capacity of 52 gallons, black water capacity of 42 gallons, and a grey water capacity of 78 gallons. Three décor options ar available; French Roast, Entourage, and Peppercorn.
Built on a heavy duty steel I-beam frame, the Aspen Trail features a floor that is 16” on center studs and features 5/8” tongue and groove floor decking. Walls have .024” Mesa sidewall metal and R-7 fiberglass insulation. A manual awning comes with adjustable legs and a detachable 30-amp power cord. Its Hurricane Straps integrate into the walls, roof and floor. The seamless TPO walk-on roof features R-7 fiberglass insulation and 3/8” roof decking to go along with a 12-year warranty. As well, the Aspen Trail has roof-ducted air conditioning and extended gutters. Lastly, Dutchmen boasts the Aspen Trail’s aerodynamic design improves towability and saves on fuel.

When you walk up Aspen Trail’s folding entry steps and open the pebble finish door, you’ll find yourself in a space much larger than expected. A kitchen island is situated in the middle of the galley, equipped with an extra large, double-bowl sink and a high-rise faucet. Behind the sink sits a large double-door refrigerator. Dinner can be prepared on the auto ignition three-burner range and dessert can be thrown into the oven, just below. The power range hood is equipped with 12 volt lighting and an exhaust fan. When dinner is ready, enjoy it at the dinette, located beside a large window, decorated in designer window treatments and mini blinds. If you don’t like the view, then you can turn on the television or listen to the radio.
When it’s time to relax, the living space of the 2730 RBS is equipped with residential furniture. The sofa, located in a 13-foot super slide, sits between the dinette and entertainment nest, with ample room to walk and stretch. We call it a nest because it’s too small to be called a center. Equipped with a digital TV antenna and wired for cable, you can choose to add a television to your trailer. Storage space is scattered throughout the Aspen Trail – an overhead compartment above the sofa, a pantry in the kitchen, and a wardrobe in the bathroom.

The bathroom is located at the very back of the 2730 RBS. It features an ABS tub and shower surround. It also has a shower/exhaust fan, along with a porcelain foot flush toilet and designer mirror. As an added bonus, the space is equipped with a 110 V GFI outlet and towel hooks.
When it’s time to recharge, retreat to the bedroom. Separated from the rest of the interior, your partner can watch TV in the living room while you crawl under the blankets and call it a day. The bedroom also has a TV hook-up for those who like watching late-night TV to help them fall asleep. Those who prefer reading can organize their books on the overhead shelf or in the storage compartments on either side of the bed.
The Dutchmen Aspen Trail also gives customers options. You may request Aztec grey fiberglass for a better look and better quality. You may also request power awning, power tongue jack, and power front and rear stabilizer jacks. If you want to add sex appeal to your family friendly ride, then request aluminum rims.

All floorplans are equipped with smoke, carbon monoxide, and LP leak detectors. Aspen Trails also feature water heater bypass and a 6.0-gallon gas/electric DSI water heater.
