Are you ready to put the rush hour and the work commute behind you, at least for a little while? It’s time to leave the urban stresses behind and hit the trails. Do it in style and comfort in the 2010 Gulf Stream Trailmaster Travel Trailer.

It’s going to be hard to pick one, as the Trailmaster comes in 26 different floorplans. Since it’s so hard to pick just one, we did it for you and will be reviewing the 260BH model. Measuring in with a length of 30’3,” a width of 96,” an exterior height of 10’8″ and an interior height of 82″, the 260BH has a dry weight of 4,930 lb, a hitch weight of 580 lb and a net carrying capacity of 2,171 lb.

Designed with a new aerodynamic rounded front profile, the Trailmaster is built on a Lippert I-beam frame and is constructed with 0.24 aluminum that’s covered in a baked enamel finish. Laminated 30”x72” radius entry doors, and a rubber roof with 12-year warranty ensures that this travel trailer is tough and durable, while six-sided R7 insulation, 4/ 1/4” crowned trusses, 13” O.C. floor joist spacing, 3/8” roof decking and 5/8” one piece floor decking guarantees that the TrailMaster will give your family years and years of camping enjoyment.

Its exterior is highlighted with high-end graphics and three tone metal, and its black window frames, dark tinted safety glass and 12” silver metal trim at the roof line are low-key yet striking accents. Other exterior features that make a difference include a porch light, a hitch light, an outside shower, a manual 8500 series A & E awning, two double 110v exterior GFI outlets and a roof vent. For entertaining purposes, it also comes with a TV antenna with booster, cable TV hook up, 30 Amp service and outside speakers.

If you want to upgrade the Trailmaster’s exterior, it comes with various popular options such as a diamond plated rear bumper, laminated front wall, diamond plate rockguard, stabilizer jacks, spare tire, carrier, and cover, stainless steel swing away entry door handle, a bicycle door and A&E 12v electric awning.

In order to keep the temperature perfectly balanced, the Trailmaster comes equipped with a 13.5 BTU ducted air conditioner, furnace and in-floor ducted heat (you can always upgrade to the 15,000 BTU air condition if you want to stay cooler). For all your water needs, it features a 6 gallon LP DSI water heater with by-pass and 20 lb. LP tanks with auto changeover. And keeping you and your family safe, you’ll sleep soundly thanks to standard safety equipment such as a smoke detector, a CO2 detector and a fire extinguisher.

Offering campers the look and feel of the home they left behind, this Gulf Stream travel trailer is loaded with interior amenities that make all the difference. Thanks to its upgraded residential linoleum flooring, it’s easy to clean up any dirt tracked in from the outdoors. Oak wood drawers come with metal ball bearing roller guides, giving you easy access to these storage areas. Cathedral cabinet doors are highlighted with polished nickel hardware, while a wall boarder seamlessly carries over from one room to the next. For added privacy, mini blinds and full window valance coverings are a simple yet sweet touch.

When you walk into the 260BH, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting living area, complete with a large couch that’s made for relaxing. For your dining pleasure, there’s a king U-shaped dinettes. Just a few of the details that makes this area stand out include rich residential accents to furniture and cabinets, glass accents on the overhead cabinets, oak fluted fascia and residential lighting in slide rooms.

There are also a few upgrades you may want to consider for the living area. Choose to add a free standing table with four chairs, a 65” or 72” electric hide a bed sofa, leather accented sofa arms, a fireplace and a 19” or 26” LCD TV.

Next to the living area is where you’ll find the kitchen. This area has everything needed to create memorable meals, including a knife drawer, residential counter tops, a high rise brushed nickel kitchen faucet, a 60/40 deep bowl kitchen sink and a sink cover. For your cooking convenience, the Trailmaster kitchen features a power range hood, a three-burner high output range cook top, an oven, a carousel microwave oven and a 6 cu.ft. black finish double door refrigerator.

If you plan on spending a lot of time in the kitchen, you may want to consider adding on options such as a stove cover, a second sink cover and a countertop extension.

The bathroom is simple, but that only means it comes with the necessities, such as an RV-style toilet, as well as a sink and shower. Little extras you’ll appreciate include an oak wood medicine cabinet with a mirror, 12v power fan and a shower skylight.

Perfect for the kids or extra overnight guests, the Trailmaster is equipped with a double bed and bunk that’s separate from the living area. There’s even a shirt closet to store camping apparel.

The master bedroom is separated from the living area as well, but is found at the opposite end of the trailer. Here, you’ll find a queen-sized bed as well as some space to store your clothes. If you want to install a TV, the bedroom comes with cable hook up.

The 2010 Gulf Stream Trailmaster Travel Trailer retails for $18,480. More information can be found at GulfStreamRVTrailers.com.
