If you’re an avid RVer, you want to be ready to go as soon as the road beckons. For a pack-and-go lifestyle that will have you on your way quickly and comfortably, try the 2011 Gulf Stream Conquest Yellowstone Class C Motorhome on for size.

What’s important to note about this particular Class C motorhome is that it comes in a variety of floorplans. There are seven different plans to choose from, but we’ve settled on taking you around the 6316, one of the larger models in the series. The 6316 measures in with a length of 32’, an exterior width of 101″, an exterior height of 11’6” and an interior height of 83″, and it comes with 64.81 cubic feet of exterior storage. In terms of water storage, it comes with a 40-gallon fresh water tank, a 36-gallon grey water tank, a 27-gallon black water tank, and a six-gallon water heater.

Boasting improved ergonomics, handling, visibility and weight capabilities, the Conquest Yellowstone 6316 is built around a Ford Super Duty E350/E450 chassis with either a Triton V-10 or a Chevy 6.0L V-8 engine. To ensure your ride is smooth, the Yellowstone is outifitted with the optional Stabil-Ride suspension system, which integrates parabolic leaf springs, auxiliary springs, a stabilizer bar and tuned shocks to give you a low-maintenance, stable ride. It also gives you improved handling with reduced body sway, especially when you take those sharp turns, and great straight-line stability. Designed for better maneuverability and a tight turning radius, the 6316’s set-back axle should make it easier to get through tight spots – which will come in handy in parking lot and campgrounds.

Built to last, the Conquest Yellowstone’s powder-coated components resist rust, chips and scratches for improved durability and longer-lasting good looks. Outfitted with a welded aluminum frame perimeter frame and laminate radus ducted roof, this Class C RV is built to stand tough against the great outdoors. For resistance to corrosion and fading, lower maintenance costs and increased resale value, it features a three-step prime/base/clear coat process for the hood and cab, and its composite construction headlights with halogen bulbs are longer lasting and easy to replace. To give you a clear view of the road, its front windshield offers over 2,000 sq. in. of glass, and its one-piece design and thicker outer glass increases safety and noise control while helping to deflect road debris.

Other exterior features of note include a double electric step, heated and remote sideview mirrors, an outdoor entertainment center, a hitch with plug, a spare tire and carrier, an outside rinse and wash spray system, an electric awning, a 30,000 BTU furnace and a 13,500 BTU roof air conditioner.

When you need a break from the rigors of the outdoors, it’s time to come inside and enjoy everything the Conquest Yellowstone has to offer in the way of comfort and convenience. There are three decor options to choose from – Emerald, Tan and Remington – that perfectly complement with the Maple cabinetry and hardwood stiles and trim. Other interior decor features that make you feel at home include upgraded lighting, stain resistant plush carpet, plush touch vinyl ceiling and pleated window shades.

In the spacious lounge area, feel free to entertain in complete comfort on the jackknife sofa and single barrel chair. And the dinette booth offers more than a great place to eat – if you’ve got guests staying over, it turns into a sleeping area. If you really enjoy your down time, you can choose to put in the optional full entertainment center with LCD screen TV.

When it’s time to get cooking, head into the kitchen to whip up a meal or a quick snack. It comes complete with a two-way double door refrigerator, a three-burner range with oven and a microwave oven. Getting the meal prepped is easier, thanks to a kitchen countertop extension and double kitchen sink.

In the bedroom you’ll find a queen-sized bed with innerspring mattress. There’s even plenty of space to keep your clothes, with wardrobes on either side of the bed.

Next to the bedroom is where you’ll find the fully equipped bathroom. It has everything you’ll need – toilet, vanity sink and shower. Other bathroom features include linen closet, power bath vent and glass shower door.

Other options you may want to put in the Conquest Yellowstone 6316 include twin bunk beds with wardrobe and innerspring mattresses, phone jack, three-speed Fantastic Fan, central vac system, aluminium bed base, range cover, DSS pre-wire, deluxe comfort plus mattress, fluorescent lights, and back-up monitor.
