If you’re looking to soar to new heights when it comes to travelling around the country, the 2012 Jayco Eagle Super Lite Travel Trailer may be the RV for you. Packed with lots of RV goodies – multiple slideouts, spacious living areas, a private bedroom and bunk rooms – the Eagle Super Lite has what you need to leave home far behind.


The 2012 Eagle Super Lite comes in six different floorplans; we’ll be focusing our attention on the 304BHK, one of the bigger travel trailers in the series. With a sleeping capacity of five to 10 people, the Eagle Super Lite 304BHK has an exterior length of 34′ 2″, exterior height of 137.5″, and interior height of 84″. It has an unloaded vehicle weight of 7,510 lbs, hitch weight of 1,090 lbs, gross vehicle weight of 9,250 lbs, and cargo carrying capacity of 1,740 lbs. In the way of water, the 304 BHK has a fresh water capacity of 82 gallons, gray waste water capacity of 65 gallons, and black waste water capacity of 32.5 gallons.


Built on an I-class structural I-beam, the Eagle Super Lite features a one-piece design, which makes it more durable, as well as a fully integrated A-frame that cuts down on weight. Made with vacuum-bonded sidewalls, slideouts and back wall, Eagle Super Lite features a smooth fiberglass exterior that stands up to extended use and travel. For a solid foundation, the floor features a welded tubular aluminum frame, 3/8″ Weyerhaeuser decking, and 5/8″ tongue and groove plywood with 2″x 3″ floor joists on 16″ centers. To make it more aerodynamic and to protect the undercarriage, the 304BHK has an enclosed and heated underbelly. Overhead, a seamless rubber roof features one-piece construction for better leak protection, while 3/8″ decking give is full support against the elements. Finally, reflective foil insulation ensures that the temperature is always perfect inside your trailer.

On the road to your destination, the Eagle Super Lite tackles the twists, turns and bumps head on. Sporting a MOR/ryde suspension system, these rubber springs create a smooth ride while helping isolate road shock. And when you finally get to where you are going, this Jayco travel trailer has four stabilizer jacks that get you set up in a jiffy.


One option you may consider adding on is the outside kitchen. If you want to entertain outdoors, this is a must. It comes with a fridge, slide-out stove, sink, and overhead cabinets.


Other exterior features of note include an electric power awning, water system winterization kit, high-output marine grade exterior speakers, prep for outside grill, radial tires, tinted safety-glass windows, outside shower, and Big Easy entrance step with 10″ deep treads.

When you’re inside the 2012 Jayco Eagle Super Lite, you’ll forget that you’re camping. Choose from Amber, Brownstone, Emerald and Cocoa décor options, all of which are highlighted by Amish-crafted hardwood cabinetry that’s made using Lumbercore pre-drilled and screwed cabinet construction.


In the living area, space has been optimized for your comfort. A 26″ LCD HDTV sits in the entertainment center, which you can watch from the J-Steel sofa, and there’s a multi-media premium sound system with CD/DVD/MP3 input jack. The travel trailer has been prepped for cable and satellite, and it even comes with a crank-up HDTV antenna with signal booster. When it’s time for a meal, gather the family around the extendable U-shaped Dream Dinette that comes with deep storage drawers underneath it. There’s also the option of going with the freestanding table and chairs, if that fits your lifestyle better.


In the kitchen, you’ll be able to cook meals on the go using the three-burner range with 9,000-BTU SuperBurner and piezo igniter, microwave, 6-cu. ft. Norcold refrigerator, and oven. Also in the kitchen, you’ll find plenty of counter space, sink cover/cutting board, and ball bearing drawer guides with full-drawer extension.

There are lots of places to hit the hay at the end of the day in the Eagle Super Lite 304BHK. On one side of the trailer is the bunk area. Here, you’ll find bunk beds and a trundle bed, along with a wardrobe and TV cabinet. On the other end is the master bedroom. A queen-sized bed with a coil innerspring mattress is flanked by wardrobes, perfect for extra storage space.


Finally, the Eagle Super Lite has a well-equipped bathroom. Amenities is this room include a glass shower door, tub/shower combo, porcelain toilet with foot flush, skylight in tub/shower, tub surround, power vent, vanity sink, and medicine cabinet.


Options include 8-cu.-ft. refrigerator, bedroom carpet, bike rack/cargo tray system, 15,000-BTU air conditioner, Hide-A-Bed, solid surface kitchen countertop, thermal pane tinted safety glass, water purifier, roof ladder, satellite kit and main door keyless entry.
