The 2019 Jayco Embark Class A Motorhome is a luxury home on the road for those looking for longer adventures. There are three floorplans available and the Embark 37MB is the shortest of the bunch.

The 2019 Jayco Embark 37MB has a gross vehicle weight rating of 32,000 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 42,000 lbs – that’s an impressive 10,000 lb. hitch capacity. It measures 37’ 10” in length, 101” wide, and 12’10” high with the A/C unit.

Meant to keep you on the road for awhile, it has a 100-gallon fresh water tank capacity, gray water tank capacity of 62 gallons, black water tank capacity of 41 gallons, and a 10-gallon gas/electric water heater. Keeping fuel-ups to a minimum, it has a 100-gallon fuel tank.

Built on a Spartan K1 raised chassis and with a Cummins ISB turbocharged engine, the Embark 37MB has a welded aluminum frame, one-piece fiberglass roof, and a steel-reinforced front cap and windshield frame. Its sidewalls are vaccum-bonded laminate with a high gloss gel coat and foam insulation.

Independent front suspension keeps the ride smoother, and automatic hydraulic leveling jacks make set-up a breeze.

Once you’ve set up camp, you can enjoy your new outdoor space under the 17’ power awning with LED lighting and watching the exterior 39” television LED HDTV. There’s also a power awning above the motorhome’s entrance, also with LED lights.

Stepping inside the Embark 37MB, the hand-laid polished tile floor makes a luxurious first impression.

In the coach area, the driver is meant to feel comfortable and maybe even a little bit spoiled with all of the cockpit features: color backup and side view cameras, powered front visors and privacy shade, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel with integrated controls, power driver and passenger seats, and a Sony 6.4” receiver with Sirius and 6.5” speakers. The dash also has the Spartan message center with LCD display which shows readings for the odometer, tachometer, fuel economy, fuel remaining, outside air temperature, coolant temperature, engine oil temperature and pressure, transmission temperature, turbo boost pressure, air pressure, trip meter, speed, and voltage. Phew!

While we’re on the subject of control centers, the motorhome’s touchpad control – or the free mobile app – allows you to adjust the inside temperature, lighting, slides, and monitor tank levels.

As for the layout, the 37MB has three different zones behind the cockpit. Immediately behind the driver and passenger seats, the living area has a hide-a-bed sofa or, instead, optional theater seating. This bank of seating and the dining booth opposite are each in their own slide so the center area is left nice and open. The entertainment center has a 50” LED HDTV with sound bar and BluRay player (there’s another one in the bedroom) and an optional fireplace for a little extra heat and atmosphere.

Moving back into the kitchen, you’ll find solid surface countertops with stainless steel sink and cover, induction cooktop with flush mount glass cover, convection microwave oven, two-door residential refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser in the door, glass tile backsplash, and high rise pull down faucet.

The bathroom, just off the kitchen, has a solid surface countertop with integrated sink, one-piece fiberglass shower with skylight, power vent, and Thetford toilet.

The bedroom feels roomy because the walk-around king-size bed and the wardrobes are each in their own slide, freeing up floor space. It has a thick foam mattress, two nightstands, and a window on each side to keep a nice crossbreeze going. For storage there’s plenty of wardrobe space and overhead cabinets. To avoid stops at laundromats, you can opt for a stacked washer/dryer.

The Jayco Embark 37MB starts at about $289, 000. Visit Jayco.com for more details.
