2017 KZ Connect Lite C191RBT Review
The KZ Connect Lite is as comfortable to tow as it is to live in. Designed to make you feel at home, it will make you and your guests forget that you’re on the road.
With 15 Connect Lite floorplans to choose from, we decided to explore one of the newest ones, C191RBT. It has an unloaded vehicle weight of 4,790 lbs, dry hitch weight of 670 lbs, dry axle weight of 4,120 lbs, net carrying capacity of 1,210 lbs and gross vehicle weight rating of 5,600 lbs. For measurements, the KZ Connect has an interior height of 78”, exterior height (with A/C) of 128”, exterior width of 90” and exterior length of 23’7”. As for its liquid capacities, it has a fresh water capacity of 40 gallons, wastewater capacity of 32 gallons and gray water capacity of 32 gallons.
The KZ Connect Lite is tough. Its one-piece seamless roof is equipped with super flex roofing material and 3/8” walk-on roof decking. The exterior features a UVA and UVB resistant gel coat. For your convenience, the radius baggage doors are equipped with magnetic catches and the bumper comes with sewer hose storage. The KZ Connect Lite has four stabilizer jacks and two 20# LP bottles. Equipped with LED lighting on the exterior and in the pass-thru storage, the KZ Connect Lite has everything you need for a safe and comfortable trip. On top of that, it is finished with a Tan Infused F/G exterior, making it as beautiful as it is functional.
Let’s start with the kitchen. When you walk into the KZ Connect Lite, you’ll find yourself in the kitchen area. Equipped with residential appliances, the KZ Connect kitchen allows you to prepare home cooked meals, fresh from the oven. You can fry veggies on the three-burner range, bake chicken in the oven and reheat leftovers in the microwave. You can store food in the large refrigerator and overhead cabinetry, and wash dirty dishes in the double bowl kitchen sink. The beautiful Amish-crafted cabinetry warms the space and gives it a homey feel. The kitchen drawers are equipped with roller ball bearing drawer glides, making them easy to open and close, and the residential linoleum floors are resistant to cracks. When you’re ready dinner, bring it over the comfy dinette, located beside a large window with a perfect view of the television.
The living room shares a space with the kitchen. If you’re not munching on food at the dinette, you can kick back on the jackknife sofa. The interior is lit with LED lights and large panoramic windows. There’s even a skylight in the kitchen that brightens the living space. If you don’t want light, you can block the sun with the nightshades. The living room is the best spot in the house to wind down after a long day of trekking, especially with its entertainment center. The KZ Connect Lite is equipped with a multi-media stereo with DVD, Bluetooth and NFC wireless connectivity. If you can’t live without your favorite movies, you can request and 24” LED television.
The KZ Connect Lite bathroom is small, but it comes with everything you need to wash up and do your business, including a porcelain foot flush toilet, shower and sink. You can store toiletries in the mirrored cabinet.
When you’re living in your trailer, you need a comfortable sleeping area. The KZ Connect will guarantee that you have a good night’s sleep. Equipped with two Queen beds – one on each end of the trailer – you and your travel confederates will be able to recharge before another day of trekking and exploring. You can keep clothes in the closets and accessories in the storage compartments located throughout the trailer.
