The 2018 Heartland Cyclone offers adventurers a spacious interior, jumbo slides and windows, and great outdoor options. This luxury crossover fifth wheel toy hauler makes the most out of both indoor and outdoor living space.

The Cyclone 4005 is one of the eight floorplans available in the Cyclone’s triple axle models. It has three slides and a 13’ garage.

It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 20,000 lbs and hitch weight of 3,540 lbs. It measures just over 41’ long, 13’3” high and 8’5” wide. It can hold 100 gallons of fresh water, 80 gallons of gray water and 40 gallons of black water.

The trailer is constructed with welded tubular aluminum framing and fiberglass skin, and has a six-point hydraulic leveling system to make campsite set-up simple. Other conveniences include unobstructed pass-through storage and a universal docking center with all system hook-ups in one concealed compartment. Included are four side-scare lights, and two flood lights at the rear.

Two side awnings with LED lights turn the entire campsite side into a really large outdoor living space, complete with kitchen and two exterior marine-grade speakers. There is also an exterior shower with hot/cold water and a high-pressure nozzle.

Move inside and the interior feels really bright and airy; instead of blocking the upper half of the walls with overhead cabinets, extra large windows allow in plenty of natural light.

As you enter the trailer, the first thing on your right at the top of the entry steps is the huge 55” LED HD television facing the living area to your left. A fireplace is located under the television, while several storage cabinets are installed above.

Make your way to the living area and you’d find a three-seat sofa that faces a two-seat sofa in the small slide opposite. There isn’t a designated dining area with table and chairs, but a pedestal table sets up in front of the larger sofa.

The kitchen of the Cyclone 4005 really feels like a genuine residential space, thanks in part to the walnut cabinetry and the ample U-shaped countertop, which also makes the space very user-friendly for more than one person at a time. Access to the trash can is through an opening into the countertop and a small door on the outside so you don’t need to carry the trash out through the trailer. A deep stainless steel kitchen farm sink has a solid surface cover to bump up countertop space and a detachable sprayer faucet. A full-sized 18-cubic-foot double door refrigerator means you can load up for the long haul, and prepare meals with the microwave, convection oven, and cooktop.

A very generously sized window and one smaller one along the length of the countertop gives you a great view of your campsite. A window facing the back lets you see the action and vistas happening outside the 94” garage opening when it’s set up for outdoor living.

Cabinet doors above the doorway leading towards the garage open up to the loft sleeping area to make it easy to have a conversation or pass snacks up to kids camping out up there. The loft is accessed from the garage area via a ladder.

In the 13’ garage, there are two electric queen beds as well as a half bath with a toilet, sink, and vanity storage space. An electric screen door keeps bugs out of the trailer while still maintaining good air flow. To really amp up your living space, you can opt to turn the 8’ ramp door into a patio with an electric awning. The garage and outdoor area have their own separate DVD/CD/MP3/ AM/FM Bluetooth stereo from the inside living space.

Back inside, past the living area and heading towards the front of the trailer, take two steps up to the master bedroom and bathroom area. The bathroom can be accessed both from the bedroom and the main space. Inside, there’s a shower with a small tub – child or small-pet sized. The vanity offers lots of under sink and drawer storage and there is also a mirrored medicine cabinet. Opposite the bathroom door, there’s a tall, mirrored wardrobe closet, perfect for stashing coats and jackets.

In the bedroom, there’s another large window letting in lots of natural light. Nightstands are found on each side of the king bed, while overhead cabinets with reading lights on the underside offer up additional storage space. Even more storage space is found in the mirrored wardrobe and the shelving unit with drawers. LED accent light strips at the top of the cabinets make for great mood lighting.

The Heartland Cyclone 4005 starts at about $70,000. For more information, visit http://www.heartlandrv.com/.
