The 2018 XLT Plus Flyer is part of InTech’s new line of Micro Lite toy haulers. This teardrop trailer is lightweight enough to be towed by a small SUV so you don’t need to shell out for a new vehicle, yet it’s roomy enough to fit two motorcycles or a full-size ATV.

This sleek, retro-look toy hauler is a solid step up from tent camping, allowing you to sleep off the ground and protected from the elements. It comes in a choice of six solid exterior colors and three interior décor schemes. Overall, it measures 6’ wide (92” including wheels), 85 ¼” high, and 13’ 9” long from hitch to bumper.

The XLT Plus Flyer is built by Amish craftsmen on a fully welded, all-aluminum frame that’s strong, lightweight, and won’t rot like wood or rust like steel. It has a manual jack with a bogey wheel and rear stabilizer jacks. It’s prepped for solar and has a 30 Amp shore cord so you have power options beyond draining your battery, and energy-efficient LED lights both inside and out.

Beyond the interior garage space for hauling your toys, you can also mount a storage basket or bicycle rack on the 2” rear receiver. Want to bring along even more? An optional aluminum roof rack will do the job of carrying kayaks, canoes, or any other kind of extra camping gear.

The XLT Flyer has the typical rear ramp door that you see on most toy haulers, and there’s also a side-entry door. Inside, the walls and ceiling are carpeted, and the floor is premium vinyl meant to handle your toys. Meanwhile, six tie-down floor rings and sidewall cargo storage nets keep everything where it should be when you’re on the road.

InTech offers a choice of two optional mattresses or, if you prefer, you can provide your own. If you decide to opt for the Tip-Out bed (which would eliminate the streetside window), it also includes a two-post table that stores away when not in use.

A really nice family oriented feature is the optional Add-a-Room tent, which attaches to the trailer, effectively doubling the livable space so that the XLT Flyer can accommodate a family instead of just two people as other teardrop trailers do. Insulated walls and ceiling in the trailer, plus the optional roof-mount air conditioner with a heat strip keep both the trailer and tent enclosure cool or warm, giving you the ability to extend your camping season. Two large, tinted sliding windows allow for good cross ventilation, and there is also a standard roof vent.

Both upper and base cabinets along the front wall offer even more storage space for all of your gear. It’s also equipped with a Bluetooth stereo with speakers.

Lastly, InTech offers a one-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship, and three-year on the all-aluminum welded frame. Added bonus: the warranty is transferrable so you still get to benefit if you’re the trailer’s second owner.

The InTech XLT Plus Flyer starts at about $14,000. For more information, visit http://www.intechrv.com/.
