Nice Trailer but Lots of Little Problems
By Ronda Stavinoha (I am an Owner) on Aug 16, 2017Purchased new from Fun Town In San Angelo Texas. Remember this, we where First time New Buyers. Our other one was bought used, therefore not many problems. We expected no problems with a New Purchase. WRONG! Made an appointment to pick it up. Showed up and they said it was almost ready. We waited. Finally ... they said we could go see it. The floors were a muddy mess. Looked like the cover over the propane tanks had been thrown on the gravel shiny side down. Scratches all over. I hated it. Husband told me to calm down. First trip in March, kitchen pipes leak everywhere. The woodwork was ruined. Husband replaced the lines with GOOD lines. While hooked up to the parks water, the water fills into the fresh water storage tanks and overflows. The propane alarm continues to go off. The slides sound like the floor of the slide is dragging. Under table drawers will not open or close properly. Built wrong. Window over table leaks when it rains. The night shades will not stay up. The screws are stripped. Won't stay tight to keep them up. No Springs for the under bed storage door. You use your head to hold the plywood up while you retrieve what you need. They screwed the residential fridge to a piece of paneling. 1 screw!! First trip and it fell out, so nothing is holding the fridge in place except the 4 rubber feet. The freezer door has to be constantly pushed on cause it wiggles it way open and then ices up inside. The little hinges that hold the outside storage doors open came UNGLUED and fell off. And one of the biggest things comfort wise is the mattress. I think they put that thing together with hay bales. Horrible mattress. Most of the cabinet doors were warped. They put extra catches on them to hide it. Didn't work. The flairs over the tires, we found after we got home, where about to fall off. They had tried to screw them to the slide, but there was not enough wood and half of the screws went to nothing. They only thing we could do was use wood glue so they wouldn't fall off. The registers on the floor are screwed down, but put in crooked so they grab and eat into the slide as you close it. They had mud all over them so we didn't notice that. The NO CLOSE outside door...haha.. If you blow on it it closes. Like I said, these are just little problems that my husband will eventually fix, and are probably under warranty (Which he shouldn't have to fix, but we don't want to leave it at the dealership to be repaired and get it back 6 months later with even more problems).I think I will practically live in our next one for a whole day before we ever hook that sucker up and drag it away. And This one has taken the excitement of a NEW TRAILER purchase away. IF I ever buy a new one again! :(Rating breakdown
