Great Family Trailer
By Knut Thomassen (I am an Owner)We have owned our Passport 2950 GT for a year now and made several trips. 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog.First, I think we need to keep in mind how fast these trailers are put together and what the cost is, when we have issues. We love our Passport 2950 GT.Again, we are very happy with our purchase. ... I had a few minor problems with the camper: The full length awning (which is awesome) was coming off its track, the water-pump had a defective valve so it kept filling up the fresh water tank whenever I had the city water connected, the sliding door to the front bedroom is hinged from the top of the door and the hinges came out of the door frame on the one side. HOWEVER; all of this was promptly taken care of by Keystones warranty. I used General RV in Brownstown MI as my service provider and BOTH KEYSTONE AND GENERAL RV have been outstanding. All the issues has been corrected/replaced without any discussion. The front storage are with large access doors are great. Plenty of room for all out belongings. Also, inside the camper we have adequate storage room for our usually 7-10 day camping trips. I specifically bought this camper because of the rear access door, double-size bunk beds and the u-shaped dinette. When we travel, I fold up the bottom bunk bed and store 3 kids, bikes all my power cables and some other items in the rear of the trailer. It is awesome, since I don't have to have a bike/luggage rack on the rear of the TT to carry these items. All the appliances work great, no issues. TV has an auto-tune function and we are always able to pick up at least 5-6 over the air Channels. It's connected to a Jensen stereo/DVD player with both A and B channel for inside/outside sound. Water heater works great and we are able to take 5 - quick showers within 30-40 min. I wish they would have put the water heater on the opposite side or at the rear of the trailer, same with the furnace exhaust. As it is, it is right outside the entrance where we like to sit. Also wish the power and water connection would have been at the rear of the trailer since most RV sites have all the hook up at the rear of the campsites.
