The 2015 RV/MH Hall of Fame Induction Dinner is on base for record-breaking attendance. According to Darryl Searer, president of RV/MH Hall of Fame, registrations are running 13% ahead of last year’s record-breaking attendance of 447.

The RV/MH Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Dinner will be held on August 3, 2015, at the Hall of Fame’s Event Center in Elkhart, Ind.

Those being honored in the Class of 2015 include: Bert V. Alanko, MBA Insurance; Patrica A. Fiederer, Latham Oneota Homes; Sherman Goldenberg, RV Business Magazine; Paul E. Hanser, HWH Corporation; Jerry W. James, Franklin Homes, Inc.; Joe Kelly, Iowa Mfg Housing Association; Richard A. Mendlen, Manufactured Housing: Marlene A. Sine, Marlene Sine & Associates, Inc.; Bill Thomas, and Bill Thomas Camper Sales; Robert West, Affordable Community Living.

The day’s activities begin with the 2015 Golf Classic Fundraiser starting with a full breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and then caps off with a luncheon and golf awards presentation. This year the golf classic will again be hosted by The Bent Oak Golf Club in Elkhart.

Then, the evening’s festivities kick off with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a gala dinner and induction ceremony at 7 p.m. All day Monday the attendees will be able to tour the Hall’s many attractions, including the antique unit collection in the museum, library and the GoRVing Hall.

“I want to emphasize that all these special activities are open to all interested parties,” says Searer. “In talking to people in the local community, I’ve learned that there is a misconception that participation in the festivities honoring the Class of 2015 is by invitation only. That’s wrong. Everyone is invited.

“In addition to honoring the inductees, attendees have an excellent opportunity to network with top industry leaders, national association executives and community leaders.”

Searer also mentioned that the Hall is seeking sponsors for the various Induction Dinner events as well as for the golf tournament. Searer said, “These sponsorships help the Hall offset the cost of the night’s events and provides additional services.”
