Thor Motor Coach has introduced its new Miramar Class A motorhomes, featuring full basement.

“It is exciting to bring to the market these new premium gas Class A Motor Homes,” says Joel Grimm, national sales manager for gas motorhomes. “Many consumers are looking for luxury accommodations in 32-36 ft. models and this new Miramar really delivers.”

The new Miramar motorhomes will be available in four floorplans to suit a variety of consumer needs. An HD-MAX exterior with partial paint design is the standard finish, while full body paint packages are optional.

A wide open basement structure allows for multiple pass through storage areas. The Ford F53 class a motor home chassis is supported by 22.5-inch tires and 22,000 lb. gross vehicle weight rating. The Miramar’s front cap is complete with LED accent lighting around the headlights. The rear cap has an integrated fuel fill, allowing access from either side of the coach. High-mounted, halogen spot lights are mounted in the rear to better illuminate surroundings in low light.

Other features on the Class A Miramar include a three-camera monitoring system, power patio awning and huge 100-gallon fresh water tank.

Inside the Miramar, residential vinyl covers the entire floor of the coach for easy cleaning. Blackout roller shades on the windows are designed to keep light and heat out of the living area. An optional hide-away drop down overhead bunk bed increases sleeping space, storing up and out of sight when not in use.

The Miramar’s galley is equipped with a solid surface countertop, 30-inch over-the-range microwave and residential Whirlpool refrigerator. An 1800-watt inverter powers the refrigerator, while the automatic generator start will fire the Onan 5,500-watt generator if battery power runs low.

All floorplans feature the Denver Mattress sleep system with king size beds in select models.
