Everyday you start on the road is a good day – well, at least it is if you’re starting it in the 2010 Damon Motor Coach Daybreak. Giving you the sleek Class A styling without the hefty price tag usually associated with this type of motor home, the Daybreak is a ray of sunshine for RVers who like to travel well.
Available in a range of floor plans, the Daybreak comes equipped with all the benefits and features you’ll need while on the move. Measuring in at 32’ 11”, the Daybreak 3211 has a width of 101”, a height of 12’, and can sleep five. And it doesn’t just carry happy campers – it brings all their gear too, as it has 150 cu. ft. of exterior storage, including a full basement pass. Sure to catch your eye is its luxurious exterior graphics, which comes with optional partial or full paint packages. Adding to this Class A motorhome’s curb appeal is its one-piece windshield and bus-style aluminum baggage doors with locking steel paddle latches.
From top to bottom, the Daybreak exemplifies quality construction, and this starts with the chassis. Built on a either a Ford or Workhorse chassis, it gets its power from a 6.8L Triton V-10 Engine with 5 speed TroqueShift automatic transmission (Ford) or an 8.1L Vortec V-8 engine transmission with overdrive (Workhorse). It’s really up to a personal preference, but both will get you over hilly climbs and winding roads without breaking a sweat.
Underfoot, there’s a water-resistant, Structurwood floor that supports the living area in the Daybreak. Framed in 1.5-inch welded-steel tubing, this motorhome is fortified with solid bead-foam insulation and protected with a galvanized underbelly, which resists rust and corrosion. A strong, welded-steel truss system is incorporated in the basement construction, which gives you a full basement and massive pass-through Rotocast storage compartments.
Overhead, the Daybreak’s roof is also vacuum-bond laminated for superior strength and rigidity. Equipped with an aluminum rafter support system, it features bowed rafters that maintain the roof’s crowned shape. Preventing leaks is a crowned roof for better water runoff, which helps to prevent leaks, and it also increases the insulation factor, especially around air-conditioning channels.
Surrounding you, all the sidewalls are vacuum-bond laminated for added strength and rigidity. You won’t find any “soft wall” around here, thanks to the lamination process, because it integrates all layers, turning them into one solid structure.
Doors, windows and other openings are framed in aluminum tubing, which strengthens the coach body. Offering additional strength in the slide room openings is 5.5-inch welded aluminum header, and angled supports in the sidewall add further strength using the same techniques as the bridge construction.
Keeping you comfortable inside no matter what season is its 13.5 BTU ducted central air conditioner with thermostatically controlled remote and 30,000 BTU floor ducted electronic ignition furnace. Keeping you stocked in hot water is a 6-gallon gas water heater with electronic ignition, and it also comes standard with enclosed heated potable and holding tanks.
When the drive is this cushy, you won’t mind taking an extra shift at the wheel. Take a seat in the reclining swivel “faux leather” captain’s chair and set your cruising temperature with electronically controlled dash air conditions. Sun visors, a windshield privacy shade, tilt steering wheel, map light, backup monitor system prep and an AM/FM radio with in-dash CD are just a few of the standards you can expect to enjoy in the cockpit.

One of the great things about a Class A motorhome has to be the convenience of a functional kitchen. And the Daybreak’s kitchen is no exception. The designer gourmet kitchen is accented by beautiful handcrafted solid wood cabinetry. Outfitted with a 6 cu. ft. flush mount double door refrigerator, 3-burner range and oven and a microwave oven, whipping up a meal is simple. Other added extras in the kitchen include a decorative bevelled mirror behind the range and a lighted power range hood complete with a monitor panel and LPG readout.
Entertain or relax in the living room, which is enhanced by a slideout that gives you maximum living space. A faux leather hide-a-bed sofa pulls double duty as seating and sleeping options, while the booth dinette is perfect for meals or a game of cards. You’ll also find a 32″ high definition LCD/TV in the living area that’s satellite ready.
