The driver of the 2013 Fleetwood Tioga Ranger DSL is destined for comfort. The adjustable reclining bucket seat is equipped with both an armrest and headrest. The large cockpit area includes a tilt wheel, cruise control, dome light, beverage cup holders, map pockets, and courtesy lights. Cockpit entertainment is provided by an in-dash AM/FM/ Radio with a CD Player. Built around a Mercedes Sprinter Chassis, the Ranger DSL is powered by a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine with Adaptive ESP. It has an automatic five-speed transmission, independent front suspension, and churns out 188 horsepower.

The Tioga Ranger is made for climate change. When it gets too hot, turn on the 13,000 BTU conventional air conditioner. When it gets too cold, turn on the 25,000 BTU furnace. For those of you who like hot showers, the Tioga Ranger comes with a 6-gallon propane water heater. The RV is equipped with a complete PEX plumbing system. The Ranger has everything your home has, except it’s much easier to maintain and makes your adventures as comfortable as possible.

Although life on the road is exciting, sometimes it’s nice to be in a familiar place and be able to comfortably relax without a care in the world. The living room is designed to do just that. It is furnished with a pedestal sofa table that has locking legs. The sofa faces a cabover entertainment center with a 26” LCD television. Wall switches control the ceiling lights.

Real homes have galleys. The 2013 Fleetwood Tioga Ranger DSL Class C 24R is no exception. The galley is fully equipped, ready to assist you in making delicious home-cooked meals. There’s enough counter space to chop vegetables and prepare meat. The stainless steal sink sits in a vacuum-formed laminate top. There’s a window above the sink so while you’re washing the dishes you can look out onto the beach or forest or desert or anywhere that you may be. The kitchen is outfitted with a three-burner range with high output and a Piezo igniter, refrigerator/freezer, and Power Roof Fan-Tastic vent fan.

The bedroom is small, but comfortable and convenient. The cupboard and doors are made of Toasted Chestnut wood and you’ll find ample storage space in the nooks around the bed. For those lazy mornings you can relax in bed and watch the 19” LCD TV.

You’ll find the private residential-style bathroom is much nicer than typical campsite facilities. A residential passage lock is installed on the bath door for privacy. Storage space can be found in the medicine cabinet above the faucet and China Bowl toilet. The ABS shower/tub is molded and hidden behind a shower curtain. Yes, a shower curtain! The showerhead comes with a flexible hose extension for those hard-to-reach places. The room is lit with a skylight. Most importantly, if a smelly situation arises, then you can turn on the 12-volt fan.

Like any home, safety is important in the Tioga Ranger DSL. There are multiple seatbelt locations in the home, just in case the ride gets bumpy. There is a propane detector/alarm, carbon monoxide detector/alarm, and smoke detector/alarm. In case of a fire, there is a 10 ABC fire extinguisher. If you need extra walking support, there are exterior and interior entry assist handles installed, along with a power electric step.
