Don’t let the super cute name fool you – the 2011 Forest River Wolf Pup Travel Trailer is built to be tough, reliable and sturdy, making it a great addition to your camping lifestyle. Fully self-contained with ample tank capacities, the Wolf Pup is compact, so it can be pulled by most minivans and small SUVs.

The Wolf Pup is the ideal solution for a family that wants the amenities of a RV with the convenience of a hitch and go trailer. There are four floorplans to choose from, but we’ll be taking a closer look at the 17B, the second largest model in the series. It measures in with an exterior length of 19’, an exterior height of 9’ 6” and an exterior width of 79”. Other numbers of note include a dry hitch weight of 347 lbs, a cargo carrying capacity of 1,144 lbs, a fresh water capacity of 50 gallons, a gray water capacity of 31 gallons and a black water capacity of 31 gallons.

Built using aluminum and fiberglass sidewall construction, the Wolf Pup has plenty of features to howl about. With its aerodynamic radius front, this Forest River trailer cuts down on wind resistance, making it easier to tow and cutting down on your gas costs. Helping to protect it from all the debris that the road throws at it is its diamond plate rock guard, and its tongue and grove plywood floors give you plenty of support under foot. Making the ride a smooth one are torsion axles and aluminum wheels, and once you get to your destination, stabilizer jack keep it rooted in place.

To give you peace of mind while you’re on the road, Forest River offers an exclusive feature to 2011 Wolf Pup owners: one year of free roadside assistance. A great way to ensure an enjoyable traveling experience no matter where you go, this perk is handy to have in your back pocket just in case any troubles pop up (hey, you never know what could happen on those bumpy roads).

Other exterior features include a radius fiberglass entrance door, vented windows, an awning, a large digital TV antenna, an entry step, a digital TV antenna booster, a 12 volt converter, a spare tire, exterior marine speakers, a monitor panel and a 6 gallon DSI water heater. Exterior options you may want to add include a 13.5 air conditioner, exterior storage solutions, flip down travel rack IPO bumper and upgraded side mount awning.

You can’t stay outside forever – at some point, you’ve got to come in. It’s a good thing the 2011 Wolf Pup has got you covered with comfort and convenience. Available in two decor options – Crimson Gold and Earth Tan – this Forest River travel trailer will feel like a compact home away from home. It may be compact, but that doesn’t mean you have to leave anything behind, as it comes complete with overhead cabinets for handy storage space.

Once you step inside, you’ll be greeting by a spacious open-concept layout that makes the most of every inch. The kitchen comes with everything you’ll need to cook up food on the go. Here, you’ll find a high-output microwave, a two-burner stove and a five cubic foot refrigerator to keep things cool. When it’s time to eat, sit down and grab a bite on the dinette with comfortable seating. To keep you entertained, it comes with a touch screen AM/FM/CD/DVD player and MP3 hookups, and you can also put up an LCD TV above the window.

And just because you’re on the road, it doesn’t mean you have to rough it. No matter how far you go out in the wilderness, you’ve got the convenience of a wet bath. It features tub/shower combination, a toilet and a linen closet for your towels and other toiletries.

When the sun goes down and it’s time to call it a day, head to the bedroom to catch some sweet dreams. Forest River knows that it can be hard to get a good night’s rest away from home, and that’s why they’ve outfitted the Wolf Cub with a super comfy queen-sized bed. The bedroom also comes with additional storage, so you can keep your clothes off the floor and tucked away.

Other options you can choose to add onto the Wolf Pup include LCD TV with inside outside mount, a spare room (just in case you want to house additional guests) and interior storage solutions for pots, pans, tools and anything else you may need to bring along for the vacation.

The 2011 Forest River Wolf Pup 17B Travel Trailer sells for around $13,900 – not a bad deal if you’re the kind of family that likes to get away a couple times a year. For more information on this and other models, visit http://www.forestriverinc.com/.
