Equipped with residential furniture and decorated with rich woods, the Forest River Sandpiper Select will be the talk of the road, turning heads and slowing traffic.
With four floorplans to choose from, we decided to go with the 3010K. Its residential layout and efficient use of space makes it a perfect option for large families and groups. It has a dry hitch weight of 1,930 lbs, unloaded vehicle weight of 10,472 lbs, and cargo carrying capacity of 3,503 lbs. Breaking out the tape measure, the Sandpiper Select 3010K has an exterior length of 37’11”, exterior height of 12’6”, and exterior width of 96”. For liquids, it has a fresh water capacity of 43 gallons, gray water capacity of 81 gallons, and black water capacity of 54 gallons. Its awning size is 16 feet.
Taking a look at the eye-catching exterior, the Sandpiper Select features a gel coated, high gloss fiberglass body. Forest River boasts the aerodynamic front cap has an improved turning radius. The Docking Station features easy winterization, hot and cold spray port, black tank flush, and pull valves for the tanks. Dump valves are enclosed and heated. The Dometic One-Touch Electric Awning is equipped with LED lights, while the porch light features an interior switch. Rain gutters come with extra long drip sprouts.

Not just a pretty face, the Sandpiper fifth wheel is built to last long under the toughest road conditions. Built on a welded aluminum frame, the Sandpiper’s superstructure is vacuum bonded and laminated. The bathroom floor deck is insulated and fully laminated as well. Also offering support are 2” by 3” floor joists with a center of 12”, 5/8” tongue and groove plywood floor decking, 3/8” walk-on roof decking (with 5″ truss rafters). A rust inhibitor has been added to the cambered, powder coated frame, while the heated underbelly is fully enclosed and its walls laminated.
A large kitchen, equipped with residential appliances, will make highway diners a thing of the past. Store food in the double-door refrigerator, which resides in a raised panel fridge insert. Prepare meals on the solid-surface kitchen countertops and cook them on the three-burner high-output range for 22″ oven. The stone cast below the mounted kitchen sink adds elegance and glam to the Sandpiper Select. After a huge meal, you might need to take a nap. Go next door to the dining table and sprawl out on the hide-a-bed sofa. With your entertainment center nearby, you can digest food while watching your favourite shows on the 32” flat screen LED/HD TV. The Sandpiper Select 3010K features a premium sound TV hookup and digital TV antenna with a booster. It also has satellite and cable hookup with an RG-6 cable, which gives you high-quality picture.
After your nap, freshen up in the bathroom. Above the sink, hangs a mirrored medicine cabinet – large enough to see your whole face and upper body. An etched tile pattern is found in the walk-in shower, which is equipped with a glass door and a seat. A porcelain foot-flush toilet and Fantastic fan are also featured in the bathroom. A linen closet is located beside the shower, so you can store all your towels where you need them most.

When you’re ready to call it a day, retreat to your carpeted bedroom. Equipped with a Queen-sized bed, you’ll have plenty of room to toss and turn comfortably. On cold nights you can crawl under the quilted bedspread and turn up the heat. The bedroom features ample storage space – store your clothes and valuables in the large dresser and shelving units. Designer window treatments and slideout fascia add glam to your bedroom, while the windows bring in natural light.
Last but not least, let’s explore the remaining room. Located at the end of the Sandpiper Select is a guest room that features triple bunk beds, twin bed, and wardrobe. Your guests will be happy with their comfortable sleeping arrangements and thankful for the storage space that also incudes an overhead compartment. This room also comes with a mini refrigerator.
