Introducing the Campmaster, the first ultra-lightweight travel trailer from Holiday Rambler. The laminated lightweight Campmaster features an aerodynamic design with tapered radius skirting for ease in towing. The stylish and sleek front profile with an enclosed underbelly reduces unwanted air turbulence and drag, adding to the towability of this trailer.

The Campmaster comes standard with many features, including aluminum wheels and a large exterior pass-through storage compartment, which provides plenty of space for storing all your camping essentials.

The residential-styled interior includes two décor options; Brass Ring or Autumn Trail. Both use much the same shades and colors, but in different designs.

The spacious kitchen features drawers with metal roller guides and mortise-and-tenon hardwood cabinet doors. The mortise and tenon joinery method produces one of the strongest joints in woodworking for angled joints (i.e. chair styles, doors, etc.). The male part of the joint is called the tenon and the female member (the hole cut into the wood) is the mortise. In the Campmaster, the joining of these two pieces is made permanent by gluing. The tenon is typically longer than its width, and a dovetail joint is also a form of mortise-and-tenon joinery.

Also in the kitchen you’ll find a microwave, 6-cubic-foot double-door refrigerator and a large double kitchen sink with a high-rise faucet. A Wedgewood three-burner cooktop sits between the sink and refrigerator, with drawers below. Above the cooktop is a lighted and powered range hood, while behind it is a built-in wooden knife holder (saving counter space while still providing excellent access). Mounted to the forward end of the overhead cabinet, the standard TV mount awaits the optional 22-inch LCD TV (cable from the standard Winegard TV antenna is in place).

Across the aisle from the galley, a large dinette window over the dinette provides expansive viewing outside the trailer while increasing the natural light inside (all of the Campmaster’s windows are equipped with mini-blinds). The dinette’s table drops down to become a 41×74-inch bed with storage beneath the dinette’s bench seats.

Residing under the front canopy, a 60×74-inch queen-size bed sits between two wardrobes, which in turn ride above the pass-through beneath bed storage. There is also storage—only accessible from inside the coach—beneath the lift-up mattress.

A full bath is built into the Campmaster’s streetside rear corner, which includes a shower stall, sink, and toilet. Serving the galley and bathroom are three 30-gallon fluid tanks (fresh, black, and gray) and two 20-gallon LPG bottles. There’s another wardrobe and a pantry along the trailer’s back wall.

Rolling on four ST205/75 14 C-rated tires and aluminum wheels, the Campmaster rides four leaf springs and two 2,800-pound rated EZ Lube axles with electric brakes. The Campmaster 21RB weighs in at 3,349 pounds with a tongue weight of 289 pounds. With a GVWR of 5,889 pounds, the Campmaster is rated to carry 2,540 pounds of water, LPG, gear, and food. Its ladder type I-beam frame is powder coated for protection against the weather and road debris. Further protecting the frame and below-floor holding tanks is the enclosed underbelly, which also aids in air flow.

Speaking of air flow, Campmaster’s aerodynamic design with tapered radius skirting (and enclosed underbelly) increases air flow, improving the trailer’s towability and the tow vehicle’s fuel economy. Diamond plating on the lower portion of the front wall protects the fiberglass from thrown-up road debris.

The Campmaster is available in four other floorplans including another 23-foot model (21RD) and three 30-foot models (28RDS, 28RLS, 28RTS). The 30-foot models feature full-depth, flush-floor slideouts. Author’s note: New to the floorplan offerings will be the TailGater Exterior Kitchen and Entertainment Center model (28RTS). This model will offer the convenience, ease and fun of entertaining outside your Campmaster. A 5 cu. ft refrigerator, along with sink, TV and gas hookup for a grill, will allow you to enjoy the comforts of home outside, which will allow the preparation of meals while enjoying the great outdoors and catching your favorite team’s game.

Available options for the Campmaster 21RB include an exterior shower, 22-inch and 26-inch LCD flat screen TVs, free-standing dinette and 8 cu. ft refrigerator.

Retail pricing for the Campmaster 21RB starts at $22,766. For more information on the Campmaster and the entire Holiday Rambler product line up, visit http://www.holidayrambler.com/ or call 800-245-4778.
