The Jayco Precept Class A is the pinnacle of luxury. Featuring a spacious and modern interior, its luxurious design will satisfy the needs of the most high maintenance traveler.

Available in four beautiful floorplans, we’ve decided to take a closer look at the 31UL. It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 22,000 lbs and gross combined weight rating of 26,000 lbs. It has an exterior length of 32’2”, exterior width of 101”, exterior height with A/C of 12’7”, interior height of 84” and a wheelbase of 190”. For tanks, it has a fresh water capacity of 71.5 gallons, gray wastewater capacity of 40 gallons, black wastewater capacity of 50 gallons and fuel tank capacity of 80 gallons. It can sleep four people comfortably.

Just like all of Jayco’s motorhomes, the Precept is engineered with JRide Plus, the industry’s first Ride and Handling package. JRide Plus features Bilstein shock absorbers, which provide optimum vehicle control. Jayco boats that they last 2-3 times longer than the conventional twin tube piston found in other luxury motorhomes. JRide Plus also comes with a computer-balanced driveshaft, which ensures it is properly tuned, reducing shudder and vibrations, and providing your wheels with power. Then there are the jounce bumpers – they absorb impact and reduce excess road noise and vibration. A standard rear stabilizer bar connects opposite wheels together, adding rigidity to the frame and reducing tilting when taking corners. The heavy-duty front stabilizer bar provides even more support and is designed to make the Jayco Precept easier to handle than most luxury motorhomes on the market.

Jayco built the Precept around a Ford F53 chassis, while power comes courtesy of a 6.8L Triton V-10 320 HP gas engine.
