A fusion of classic American automotive design and the latest in aerodynamic, European-inspired camping trailers, the 2012 EverGreen Element Travel Trailer is definitely a departure from traditional RVs. Environmentally friendly and stylish, the 2012 Element is built tough with the latest in sustainable composites so it will last a lifetime.

There are five floorplans of the Element, but we’ll be taking a closer look at the ET26 SRK. This model has an exterior length of 25’10”, an exterior width of 90″, an exterior height of 9’ and an interior height of 84″. The Element ET26 SRK has a GVWR of 7,000 lbs, a UVW of 4,900 lbs and a hitch weight of 490 lbs. In the way of water, this travel trailer has a fresh water capacity of 36 gallons, a grey water capacity of 29 gallons and a black water capacity of 29 gallons.

An interesting note about the EverGreen Element is that it meets the 60 square feet “frontal area towing requirements” of the OEM automotive manufacturers. This is defined as the total area of the trailer that is exposed to air resistance and because the Element does not exceed 60 square feet, it offers superior aerodynamic performance.

Using a highly engineered automotive style chassis, the Element is designed to be lightweight and durable. Built with a High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steel that yields the highest strength-to-weight ratio, the Element’s frame features little to no welding. This EverGreen travel trailer’s frame components are secured with a system of bolts and interlocking groves to give it a stronger, lighter weight chassis. And each of the frame’s components is protected with an automotive quality electro-coating process that coats it to slow down rust and corrosion. On top, the Element boasts a durable polymer roof coating that is bonded to the roof surface, creating a seamless exterior membrane. To finish it all off, this EverGreen RV comes with Diamond Shield, which protects against stone chips, salt, sand, road debris and scratches.

Even though it is built to be both environmentally friendly and stylish, the Element is also built tough with the latest in sustainable composites so you can make countless camping memories. Resistant to rot, mold or mildew – factors that can mark the demise of RVs – the Element is made using sustainable ComposiTek construction, which means it is Element eco-friendly and recyclable.

The Element comes equipped with the AFT (Advanced Fulcrum Tracking) axle system that offers balanced stability and tracking on the road. Plus, it utilizes independent trailing arm torsion suspension integrated with a through-chassis fixed beam axle.

Other exterior features include oversized lighted exterior pass-through storage, a 110v exterior GFCI receptacle, and a radius entry door with a screen. If you want to be super eco-friendly you can always opt to go with the Solar Power Package. This includes a 10-watt rooftop solar panel, a solar charge controller, 120 watt prep lines, dual battery boxes and trays, dual mode battery switch, interior solar controller display panel prep wire, and rooftop panel mounting plate.

Inside the Element ET26 SRK, this travel trailer is designed to feel just like home. Modern and stylish, this EverGreen travel trailer’s interior is not all about looks – it’s also about functionality and durability. That’s why it comes equipped with lightweight radius cabinetry with concealed hinges, Euro-style convertible lounge seating, padded “no crack” vinyl flooring throughout, day/night window shades and European-styled windows that are crafted of tinted acrylic to provide energy efficiency and privacy.

The new ET26 SRK features a new layout. This floorplan comes with a rear kitchen configuration and two lounge seating areas facing each other across the living area, making entertaining more intimate. This Element also features a roadside slide-out lounge area has a dining table that converts into a full sized bed. This bed sleeps two, while the lounge seating area converts to sleep one adult. As well, the ET26 SRK boasts a larger bath that features a private enclosure shower with seat, commode and sink.

If you have an active family, you’ll be glad to learn that the Element can keep up, especially when it comes to the kitchen. Clean, functional and ready for the rigors of camping, the Element’s kitchen comes with a stainless steel, two-burner LP cooktop with a folding glass cover, stainless steel power range hood with light, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave and a stainless steel kitchen sink.

In the bedroom that comes complete with contemporary design, a 60”x80” queen sized bed is surrounded by headboard and wardrobe storage, as well as conveniently placed reading lamps. A coordinating designer mattress cover also comes standard.
