You don’t have to be in South Kensington to experience the glitz and glam of London. In fact, you don’t even have to be in London. The 2015 Newmar London Aire will bring the royal city to you, equipped with all the luxurious appliances of the new world.
Out of four floorplans to choose from, we’ve decided to explore the 4599 because its storage and sleeping space can comfortably accommodate six people. The London Aire has a gross vehicle weight rating of 53,000 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 68, 000 lbs. It measures in with an overall length of 44’11”, overall height of 13’4”, interior height of 84”, interior width of 95.5” and overall width of 95.5”. The London Aire has a grey water capacity of 80 gallons, sewage capacity of 60 gallons and a water capacity of 105 gallons. As well, the London Aire 4599 can hold 22 gallons of propane and offers an overall fuel capacity of 150 gallons.

The 2015 Newmar London Aire is built on a Freightliner Tag Axle SLR chassis. Coupled with a 600 hp Cummins ISX engine, the London Aire is both powerful and reliable. Its polished aluminum wheels will get you across the country in style and its back-up alarm will keep you safe. The dash features a display with electronic chassis information, while the recessed fuel fills feature crossover, which means you can fill up from both sides. An anti-lock braking system and hydraulic levelling jacks make road trips safe and easy. Drivers will appreciate the Comfort Drive steering with adjustable control.
There’s no denying that the London Aire is beautiful. Its fully painted body is Newmar’s self-proclaimed masterpiece, literally named “Full-Paint Masterpiece.” Designed to protect the London Aire from the wrinkles and freckles of Mother Nature’s fury, this motor coach promises to maintain a stunning appearance for years to come. You can choose from four exterior paint jobs: Mystique, Commonwealth, Bushwood, and Gelato.
Before you ride off into the sunset, you need to fuel up. You can handle all food prep and avoid fast food joints thanks to the London Aire’s kitchen, which is equipped with the best appliances. A Norcold four-door refrigerator comes with an icemaker and a water dispenser, while a 30” microwave convection oven with a two-burner gas top offer ample cooking and reheating options. You can request a Dometic freezer on a pull-out tray and a Whirlpool two-piece washer and dryer. Sable Maple hardwood cabinets have concealed hinges and full overlay double cathedral doors. If you want to upgrade, choose between Wicker, Caramel or Manhattan glazed cherry hardwood cabinets. Polished solid surface countertops add a nice contrast to the dark cabinetry. When dinner’s ready, serve it at the hide-a-leaf dinette, which sits below an overhead compartment. Storage space is plentiful in the kitchen, thanks to the pantry, cabinetry and overhead cabinets installed throughout the space.

Down time is best spent on the couch. Lie down on the hide-a-bed sofa. If your family members beat you to it, sit down on the other sofa. TV junkies will want to turn on the Sony 48” LED television and Blu-Ray DVD Player. If you want to listen to music instead, blast the AM/FM radio, equipped with a CD Player and Bluetooth. The Sony surround system, equipped with a woofer will make every room in the house vibrate. If you can’t enjoy the wild outdoors without your favorite TV shows, then request an exterior entertainment center.
RV bathrooms are not known for their luxury, but the Newmar London Aire defies the norm. This luxurious bathroom is fit for the queen. With a sink, wardrobe and large shower, the London Aire bathroom is missing nothing. The solid surface shower is equipped with a glass door and there is ample walking space inside. Instead of fighting for the bathroom every morning, family members can use the second toilet, located next door to the bedroom. When you’re ready to call it a day, escape to the master bedroom. Unlike most motor coach bedrooms, the room features ample walking space, despite the king-size bed. Turn on your radio and wind down to some music – the room is equipped with two speakers. If you’d rather watch your favourite show before falling asleep, then turn on your Sony LED TV, equipped with a Blu-Ray DVD Player. With two overhead compartments, the bedroom features enough storage space for your clothes, accessories and gadgets. If you’re travelling with family or accommodating guests, utilize the double bunk beds with drawers.
Last but not least, let’s explore the cockpit. The driver and passenger seats come in Villa ultra leather, which means long road trips are guaranteed to be comfortable. The seats are also heated so winter drives will not involve chattering teeth and blankets.
