The American Eagle is a powerful Class A American Coach that soars through the road, stealing attention wherever it goes.

It comes in four beautiful floorplans – we’ve decided to explore the 45A because we love its residential layout. The American Eagle 45A has a gross vehicle weight rating of 51,000 lbs, front gross axle weight rating of 17,000 lbs, tag gross axle weight rating of 14,000, rear gross axle weight rating of 20,000 lbs, gross combined weight rating of 66,000 lbs and hitch weight rating of 15,000 lbs. For measurements, the American Eagle 45A has an overall length of 44’11.5”, overall height with A/C of 12’11”, overall width of 102”, interior height of 84” and interior width of 96”. For tank capacities, the 45A has a fresh water capacity of 100 gallons, grey water capacity of 60 gallons and black water capacity of 40 gallons. Its fuel capacity is 150 gallons.

The American Eagle rides on a powerful Liberty chassis – the model is a Freightliner SLM Series. Powered by a Cummins ISX15 engine with a three-stage engine brake and Allison 4000 MH six-speed transmission with an electronic shifter, the American Eagle soars through the streets with style and power. The V-Ride rear/driver axle increases sway control and makes the coach easy to handle, while the UltraSteer i-Series independent tag-axle suspension provides you with a better turning radius and maneuverability.

A modern masterpiece, American Eagle’s construction features the latest materials and building techniques. The five-layer flooring is equipped with 3” bead foam insulation, and the six-layer radius roof also comes with bead foam insulation. Aluminum-framed wall construction ensures durability, while the acoustic absorption materials reduce noise inside the coach. Front and rear quarter panels are made from fiberglass, along with the front and rear caps. Paneled luggage compartment doors feature insulated aluminum frames. To top it off, the American Eagle features premium automotive full body paint with sand and buff high-gloss finish.

When American Coach designed the American Eagle interior, it considered every single detail. From the technology to the décor, the living area exudes luxury. To keep the indoor air fresh, the entry screen door comes with a logo kick plate, inviting in the warm breeze, while keeping out unwanted pests. Hardwood and fabric window treatments compliment the premium radius hardwood face-framed cabinetry, molding and slideout trim. The space features 12-volt LED ceiling and task lighting, along with floor and toe-kick mounted accent lighting. Equipped with two sofas, the space offers ample room to spread out and relax. Tech addicts will love the Sony home theater system featuring a 48” LEDHDTV, Bose speakers and Sony Blu-ray DVD with Wi-Fi. If you want to set the mood, dim the lights and pull down the privacy shades using the iPad controller.

By far, the most impressive room in the house is the kitchen. Equipped with hardwood radius countertops and maple-lined cabinet doors, the kitchen will motivate you to dine in, rather than eat out. You can make a delicious stir-fry on the flush-mount electric two-burner induction cooktop; you can reheat leftovers in the GE Advantium convection microwave oven; and you can store food in the French door refrigerator, equipped with an icemaker. Dishwasher drawers are equipped with a wood door front, and the chrome high-rise faucet is equipped with a sprayer. The American Eagle 45A kitchen also comes with a pullout extension featuring flush-top design and power lock. When dinner’s ready, serve it at the polished solid-surface dinette table, which comes with slideout extension and decorative chairs.

The Tecma Silence Plus 2-button porcelain vacuum flush toilet is easy to clean and maintain. For storage, the bathroom comes with a wardrobe and overhead cabinetry.

Last but not least is the bedroom. A Serenity Max Series memory foam mattress is designed to be comfortable and good for your back. It comes with a relaxing head and foot massage feature, along with a handcrafted hardwood sculpted headboard. If you like watching TV before bed, you’ll be thankful for the Sony 32” LED TV, which comes with a Sony Blu-ray DVD Player. For storage, the bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, dresser, two nightstands and overhead cabinetry.
