The 2018 Roadtrek SS Agile is a shorter length Class B motorhome that is equally at home on a short weekend out-of-towner as it is on a long-haul road trip. It’s simple to pick up and go without compromising all the comforts and features of a larger motorhome.

The Roadtrek SS Agile runs on diesel and is built on a Mercedes-Benz short sprinter chassis. It comes in at under 20’ long (19’5” to be precise), 6’8” wide (without mirrors), and 9’9” high (includes a/c unit). It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 8550 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 13,550 lbs. Fresh water capacity is 36 gallons, gray water capacity is 20 gallons, and the black water capacity is 10 gallons.

With the SS Agile’s compact size, it is easier to get places that you couldn’t with a bigger coach, and if you opt for one of the upgrade packages the solar panels will give you even more versatility and freedom, so you can stay powered up pretty much anywhere you go. The 9’10” power awning adds some outdoor living space as well.

Plenty of great features come standard, including the rearview back-up camera, automatic on/off headlights, and the tilt and telescopic steering wheel. Aesthetically speaking, the paint job is refreshingly understated for an RV – just a solid tone. If you’d prefer something other than the standard bright white, you can opt for a dark red, silver, charcoal grey, or champagne pearl.

The luxury chassis package comes standard and includes heated driver and passenger seats, front and side airbags, multi-function steering wheel with trip computer, light and rain sensor, blind spot monitoring, and collision prevention assist. The Mercedes Becker map pilot navigation system with Bluetooth has an on-dash keypad, audio 15 FM/AM radio, aux-in, and a USB port.

Swivel the driver and passenger seats around and the slide-out table is a great place to enjoy a snack during a pit stop or play a game of cards. Moving on back into the galley kitchen, you’ll find it fully equipped to make meals with convection microwave oven, 3.1-cubic-foot refrigerator, and a recessed two-burner propane stove. The stovetop and sink each have a flush cover to create more prep surface area.

In the wet bathroom, you’ll find a stand-up shower, toilet, and a flip-out faucet that pulls out and attaches up high to act as your showerhead.

Helping to keep everybody entertained is a home theater system with five-speaker surround sound & dual center speakers with DVD, CD, AM/FM radio. You can opt for a 24” LED television that mounts to face the sofa.

At the rear of the coach, a power sofa reclines with the touch of a button. Leave it partway down in a recline position for laid-back lounging, television watching, or reading. When it’s all the way down, it’s a roomy a king-size bed. There are also three seatbelts on the sofa in case you’re taking passengers along for a day trip. Cup holders on each side, overhead lights for reading, and a pedestal table to put in when the sofa is in sitting position.

Overhead storage throughout the coach, a wardrobe cabinet, and plenty of drawers in the kitchen give you lots of places to load up for your adventures.
