The 2018 Shasta Revere 32DS travel trailer has been designed and built to feel like a true home for the whole family.

Thirteen diverse floorplans are available to suit your needs, whether it’s just the two of you or you’re travelling with kids and grandkids. We’re taking a closer look at the 2018 Shasta Revere 32DS, which is one of the floorplans with a bunkhouse for the kids. It has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 10,916 lbs and a hitch weight of 756 lbs. It measures 35’6” long, 96” wide and 11’7” high. Its fresh water tank has a capacity of 50 gallons, and each of its gray and black water tanks can hold 45 gallons.

The Revere has wide-track axles for better stability, aluminum exterior skin, and fiberglass insulation in the sidewalls, floor, and roof.

You’ll be set for a longer haul trip with dual 30-pound propane tanks, located at the front under a quick-access cover. Roomy pass-through storage is accessible by big exterior side doors as well as from under the bed. Each side access is also LED-lit, making it really easy to find what you need even after sundown.

A 17’ power awning has an LED strip built right in. Two outside speakers under the awning are controlled via the multimedia center inside, but are also Bluetooth compatible so you can make your music picks with your tablet or smart phone while sitting outside as well. There are also two electrical outlets so that you can set up a table with appliances under the awning if you like.

The large exterior kitchen on the Revere 32DS is definitely one of its best features. The family chef can enjoy time outside with the rest of the gang while dinner is being prepped, or it also makes a great bar and snack station. The exterior kitchen has a six-cubic-foot refrigerator, sink, plenty of counter space, and lots of cabinet and drawer storage. The exterior grill swings around from the back of the coach.

At the rear of the trailer, there’s an outside shower with hot and cold water access, and also prep for a back-up camera.

There are two entrances: the main one at the front of the coach, and the second one further back, which leads directly into the bathroom so there’s less trekking of dirt and debris through the main living space.

Inside, the Revere has seven-foot height, an inset tray ceiling with skylight, and oversized windows, all which make it feel airy and spacious.

In the kitchen area, seamless solid surface countertops, under-mounted double, deep-bowl sink, and a high rise pull-out faucet give you lots of space for cleaning up. The flush-mount sink cover can also be flipped over and used as a cutting board. There are also a couple of electrical outlets so that you can set up your coffee maker and still have an outlet for another appliance, too.

In the kitchen you’ll find a three-burner cooktop, oven, range hood with fan and light, eight-cubic-foot refrigerator and freezer combo with a nice deep drawer to store pots and pans.

Head over to the U-shaped dinette booth, which makes for a great family eating or game area, and it converts easily into a bed for two adults. Storage underneath is easy to access from the front side of the bench without having to lift up the seating.

The jack-knife sofabed also has storage that’s easy to access: instead of having to lift up the seat and reach under, the storage compartment slides out so it’s easy to grab bedding to set up for overnight guests.

In the entertainment area, there’s a nice big space for television hook-up, as well as an AM/FM radio with CD and DVD player.

In the bathroom, the roomy tub shower makes it possible to give young kids a bath. Other features include the mirrored medicine cabinet and the door that goes directly outside.

At the back of the trailer, just outside the bunk area, there’s a closet with hanging space and shelves for the kids’ clothes. The bunk area itself can be closed off from the living area with a pocket door. The kids will love this room of their own: not only is it their private sleep space for three, but the dinette gives them somewhere to eat, play games, or do activities out of the way of the main area.

At night, the dinette converts easily into a bed. The top bunk is on struts, so it’s simple to fold up and out of the way for access to the dinette during the day. The third bunk has a little ladder that’s a part of the built-in storage unit, where kids can keep all of their gear. There are two emergency exit windows – one on each top bunk – and a third window on the back wall so there’s lots of natural light.

The main bedroom is at the front of the trailer. A walk-around Queen-size bed lifts up easily on struts to access the pass-through storage underneath. A window on each side of the bed makes for a lovely cross-breeze. Each side has a large built-in nightstand with a drawer, as well as an outlet and USB ports. Mirrored cabinets on each side of the bed, as well as cupboards above it, provide storage for both hanging and folded items.

The 2018 Shasta Revere 32DS starts at around $23,000. For more information, visit http://www.shastarving.com/.
