Dont do it
By Joe jones (I am an Owner) on Apr 06, 2014Tows great. Sets up fast, but being a pop up takes 1-2 hrs to unpack drop down and repack.Quality of craftmanship is poor. I didnt deal with the best dealer when i bought new. Had an issue with front storage compartment. Fixed withh caulk. This was within 4 months. Now the front is on the verge of falling ... off. Its going to take me re-engineering to refasten it. The underside is not coated, raw plywood. Wherever a screw penetrated the screw was rusting within months. Didnt even use deck or stainless screws. I sprayed undercoating. Trim is barely attached have had to reattach many pieces. The shower drain leaked. Dealers fix once again was caulk. I cut it out and did it right. Fill the water tank and lose half your water before you get to your destination. Has an overflow at the top so i added tubing and a valve when traveling. Has a residential microwave with a glass rotisserie. Figure how long it lasted Keep in mind lifetime roof warr only good if you recaulk seams periodically. Dont use silicone i found another product works much better ( forget name) ask any reputable roofer. Know i said i had a poor dealer but obviously jayco doest reimburse dealers for warr repairs or they would have jumped. I take care of what i spend money on so this isnt a matter of being a newbie camper or hard on things. Thankfully im a fixer and theres not much i cant handle that is why i took everything on myself. Knew i would do it right. Bottom line jayco is not a good product. I wouldnt ever buy new again either. Plenty of people who had good intentions to camp and never used them much. You can find something good for 1/2 price. Factory warr next to useless considering the time you can actually use them. Im in ohio so its not a year round thing. Best case if yu got out once a month for two years thats only 24 times. P.s. Watchout for these super lightweight full size trailers. $50 more in gas is worth a stout rig rhat will last for decadesRating breakdown
