Camping and RV shows are a fairly common site in North America and Europe, but not so in Asia. Things may be changing, however, as South Korea’s first such show, the International Camping and RV Show, opened its doors on July 9 in Seoul.

According to Korea’s Global TV, recent figures show camping has never been more popular in Korea and the International Camping and RV Show aims to highlight a variety of useful camping tips.

“Compared to years before, there are definitely more people who are interested in going camping here in Korea,” Park Kee-woong, the show’s exhibition manager, told Korea’s Global TV. “So, we thought it would be a good idea for us to put together an exhibition of different camping goods to provide useful information.”
