Old School Mini-Based RV

The 1960s were a pretty wild time. So wild, in fact, that somebody thought it would be a good idea to convert a Mini into an RV.

Our friends at TheTruthAboutCars.com recently posted some photos and background information on the Mini-based Wildgoose RV, which was built in the late 1960s. Powered by a whopping 850cc engine that pushed out about 34 horsepower, the Wildgoose was designed with a retired couple in mind and featured a pop top.

How do you suppose the Wildgoose performed on highway jaunts? We’d guess it didn’t spend much time in the passing lane.
