With residential appliances and contemporary deco, the DRV puts a fashionable spin on its traditional mobile homes. Couples seeking lavish living on the road should consider the 2014 DRV Mobile Suite Estate.

With 10 floorplans to choose from, it was difficult to choose one. After comparing and contrasting, we decided to explore the 38 RSB3. This layout utilizes space most efficiently and leaves ample room for spreading out and relaxing. It has a 15” triple box tube frame and a 101” wide body frame. The 38 RSB3 has 8,000lb axles and 17.5” Goodyear H-Rated tires. It comes with automotive disc brakes and 3 ¾” thick walls, equipped with foam core. For water, there’s a fresh water tank capacity of 100 gallons, gray water tank capacity of 75 gallons and black water tank capacity of 50 gallons.

With the same structure and foundation as its older DRV siblings, the Estate doesn’t cut many corners. It features a 3” floor with 14” O.C. aluminum floor joists. The floors are also equipped with Four Season perimeter heat ducting and feature 5/8” tongue and groove plywood. The 38 RSB3’s joist construction is screwed and glued. The walls are constructed with screwed and glued aluminum studs, featuring 16” O.C. stud spacing. To eliminate condensation, the walls are made with a Monsanto Fome-Core Vapor Barrier. They also have 1/4” thick high gloss gel coat fiberglass, equipped with wood backers. The wool insulation is formaldehyde-free. The Estate’s fully molded fiberglass roof features 16” O.C. rafter spacing and ½” plywood roof overlayment.
