With four floorplans available, Winnebago launched the new Winnebago ONE series of travel trailers for the 2013 model year. We’re taking a look at the 32BH – Winnebago’s first bunkhouse floorplan, which seems perfect for larger families.

The 32BH has an exterior length of 35’11”, exterior height (with AC) of 11’2”, and exterior width of 8’0”. Inside the 32BH will suit all but NBA centers with its 6’10” interior height, while the gross vehicle weight rating is 8,800lbs and its hitch height is 21.5”. For water, it has a fresh-water capacity of 56 gallons, a black-water capacity of 33 gallons, and a gray-water capacity of 66 gallons. There’s also a 6-gallon gas and electric water heater and a high-capacity furnace.

Lightweight and easy to tow, the all-aluminum Winnebago ONE features six-sided aluminum cage construction with laminated fiberglass gel-coated sidewalls and a laminated Darco wrapped floor. It has a gel-coat fiberglass front cap, designed with aerodynamics in mind, while the underbelly is completely enclosed, insulated, and heated. The thick crowned roof is protected by an EPDM rubber membrane.

The entrance to the trailer is larger than most and makes it easier to squeeze cumbersome appliances inside. Walking in, you instantly notice the beautifully finished brandy maple cabinetry, giving the travel trailer a homey feel. As previously mentioned, the most unique feature of this trailer is the L-shaped back-bunk, which sleeps four people.

In the living room the ceilings are arched, creating a spacious and luxurious feel. If you like electronics, you won’t be disappointed with the abundant electrical outlets scattered throughout the room. Watch TV on the sofa or from the dinette while eating your breakfast. Unlike many trailers, the windows are actually big, so you can brighten the living room with natural sunlight rather than wasting electricity on lighting. The cabinets have plenty of storage space for clothes, boxes, appliances and anything else you want to keep tucked away.

After a tiring day of driving, you can escape into your bedroom, shut the privacy door and collapse on your memory foam mattress. With plenty of storage space, you can keep your shirts wrinkle-free in the spacious His & Hers shirt closets on either side of the bed. For extra storage, you can use the overhead cabinets. If you love watching TV before you doze off, then you can make use of the extra hook-up.

As for the kitchen, it features plenty of countertop space for chopping and slicing. The stainless steel sink has a pullout faucet, while the standard three-burner range top comes with an oven and Piazzo igniter. For quick reheating, throw your dinner in the 13.51VI Bill central air microwave. Store your food in the double door refrigerator and store your cutlery in the large drawers with full extension ball bearing roller guides.

With a surprisingly spacious glass-enclosed shower, you’re sure to enjoy the bathroom. Other bathroom features include a large bowl sink, roomy medicine cabinet, and linen closet. Unlike many trailer bathrooms, this one actually has enough space for you to move around without bumping into things.

Large enough to accommodate a family of four to six people, the Winnebago ONE travel trailer is built for outdoor living. Some of the great outdoor features include a shower, marine-grade speakers, kitchen, and TV connection.

The Winnebago ONE gives you options. If you plan on having lots of guests over, the living room can be equipped with a pullout lounge table. If you have a big family or lots of sleepovers, consider the L-shaped sofa. For extra sleeping accommodation, a hide-a-bed-sofa is available. Other options include a recliner ipo swivel chair, freestanding dinette with four chairs, raised cabinet doors, and raised panel refrigerator front. As well, you can choose between the 26” television and the 32” television.

The 2013 Winnebago ONE Travel Trailer breaks many industry standards and gives consumers many options, allowing you to personalize your trailer to cater to your specific needs. The 32BH goes for about $40,000. If you’re interested or looking for more information, visit: http://www.winnebagotrailers.com/.
